What Nitish did is an act of extreme courage
by VENKATESHPRASAD IYER on Aug 01, 2017 11:48 PM

The writer is absolutely correct. Though the mandate given by the people was not for BJP it was also not for indulging in corruption practiced by RJD's Lalu and his ilk. The Congress by supporting Lalu only has proved that it encourages corrupt people and has no principles to join such corrupt forces. All those so called secular forces fighting communal forces cannot be seen to be indulging in unabashed corruption. For the aam admi corruption is a greater evil than communalism. Corruption affects him in many ways leading to an inefficient administration and greasing the palms of babus to get all mundane work done. The lesson is that both Nitishji and PM Modi are very conscious about their image and idea of not to join hands with corrupt politicians.

So what was the alternative? He could have continued with the same deputy CM against whom so many charges were there. In Bihar, people had already guessed two years back that the mahagathbandhan between different ideologies will not last for long. They were not expecting it to continue even for two years.

Sarita ranjan, Just compare Veteran , experienced, intelligent, person with wisdom like Nitish Kumar and the inexperienced, immature, not properly educated Dy CM of Bihar Tejashwi. over and above, there was constant interfere form corrupt lalu Prasad who was running parallel government. No wise person can tolerate such things and continue his alliance with such people. Nitish has shown Lalu and his family the right place by a quick, calculated and smart move.

Bihar CM is very shrewd enough to realize that by aligning himself with opposition Mahagatbandhan neither he wouldachieve his ultimate ambition of next PM,( as congress want Rahul as PM candidate),nor he could do any of his election promises.Best thing is to align wwith the invincible sacrificing his personal ambitioon for the sake of the betterment of Bihar state possible now with full support and flow of funds from center.Eventually Nitish has done the right thing instead being exploited by corrupt RJDwhom even congress too brass could not do anything.Real winner is Nitish & llosers congress&RJD

Nitish's courage
by Sane Voice on Aug 01, 2017 08:27 PM

What Nitish did was not an act of extreme courage, but extreme opportunism, succumbing to appeasement, and selecting the worst option to his own detriment, causing irreparable and irreversible damage to his image and political career.

Nitish won when dal prices were skyrocketting....will lose again in 2019 because food prices will touch a record high again due to faulty policies of NaMo when farmers won't sow anything.
