4 reasons why Rafale could ruin Modi and Parrikar's party
by susarla suryaprakasam on Jan 18, 2018 03:51 PM

As long as stupids galore like U amd me thrive here and braines emigrate to US and other greener pastures, no choice but to buy even at high cost. Even after 70 years, we could not develop Fighter aircrafts of high quality or Missiles to tackle them, what to do?

Deal cries for transperancy
by Bharat Sharma on Nov 30, 2017 06:11 PM

P M has championed the belief that rule base frame work for selected venders was superfluous when the tiller of National Security was in the hands of self - accredited DESH BHAKTS.
Why deal was announced without clearance from cabinet or defence ministry ?
Why its original Indian partner HAL was junked & the baton handed over to Anil Ambani co. --perceived to be close to PM ?.
In spite of repeated enquiries , no cost break down figures were revealed . So how to ascertain that prices are indeed cheaper than quoted in MMRCA tender during UPA regime !!.
Doubts are highlighted that Modi Govt. has inked a deal which is far costlier per plane than the one negotiated by UPA regime ?
Instead of another defence deal sinking in the quagmire of misgivings , Govt. needs to clear the air as soon possible.

Who are the enemies ones thoes are buying these goods
by Jagdish Arora on Feb 05, 2017 10:19 PM

Wish they can buy this aircrafts with corruption money only instead of using the tax payers money which is being mainly used for weapons and getting commissions from arms manufacturer. Tax payer money is for poor people and should be spent as such and government should use thousands of crores with RSS and Sangh to buy any weapons and aircrafts at any price they want 5000 crores each or 10000 crores each, Prices are very cheap and Indian national budget is 21.47 lakh crores and we can easily buy say 1000 crores and France can have our budget money every year to pay off its debts. Thanks to the chaiwala also for buying such luxury goods to keep in the museums.

by Sarath Babu on Oct 18, 2016 08:00 AM

Everyone knows the lineancy if Ajay Shukla . He enjoyed lots of pampering from Anotny and hence he praised Antony for the Rafale deal . But when the ministry changed , Ajay changed his opinion . This is not fair for a soldier .

Foreign Policy and Defence Equipmment Acqusition from abroad
by Kuldeep Chandra on Oct 08, 2016 06:48 PM

It is time for innovating development of having an agreed foreign policy frame work across all the political party lines and an agreed policy framework for defense equipment acquisition. The policy frames can be reviwed every ten years and there should be agreed method for bringing out policy changes in consonance with critical global changes and political upheavals in the global socio-ecconomicand security political environments. All these policies should bedovetailed to national development policies.
This will help wasting time of parties on all critical issues regarding national development.
The NITI AYOG should nake a panel of wise representatives of all the major parties and observers from all small parties assited by supperannuated outstanding IAS and IFS and IES ofiicers This Panel should submit the report within next one year of its formation extendable to another one year. The report should be presented to both houses of Parliament and should be improved and modified and the distilled consensus report be adopted by two third majirity of both the houses. This approach will make all Governments to perform execellently well with sembleance of continuity of Indian Leadership rther than upmanship of one or the other government.

Raffle deal - Was it Good?
by Srinivasan Iyer on Oct 08, 2016 06:45 PM  | Hide replies

Time alone and CAG reports on the purchase will tell us the tale. Never has the purchase of such crtical equipment been done across the table by the PM with another PM! It requires experts to be part of the delegation. Our PM takes over the function of the Foreign Minister, Defence Minister, and several others in his foreign visits and the other Ministers have to toe the line!!

Something smells badly. May be we get to know the truth after the next General election, as happens in every deal made by the previous governments.
