Till now everyone is criticising the writer but all are silent on the facts and figures quoted. Not a single word refuting the information given by him.Just the usual abuses and insinuations. Interesting indeed....

You are correct and that is what is happening since May'2014 no one discuss facts and figures. every one is trying to manage perception...Had it been great deal for India, I am sure Modi himself would have gone and been in the limelight rather than sending Parrikar... Second reliance angle on dassault 50 yrs contract can not be ignored

He is suggesting buying Su30-MKIs but he conveniently omits to mention that of the 200 odd So30MKIs India has, only 40% is operational at any given time. i.e. Only 80 out of 200 are ready for combat. The remaining 120 are undergoing repairs and maintenance. The supply of spare parts from Russia has been very pathetic. Only after Parrikar recently visited Russia has there been any sign of improvement on this front.
Shukla conveniently omits that Su-30MKI is an air superiority fighter meant to win air battles and is not designed for bombing targets on the ground. Rafale can bomb ground targets as well as air-to-air missions. Currently only Jaguars, Mig 27 and Mirage are capable of bombing ground targets. So he is being deceptive when he says 2 Su30MKIs can replace one Rafale. It is like saying Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav are together better than Virat Kohli or that Virat Kohli and Pujara can together replace Ashwin.
Also he conveniently omits to mention that Jaguars and Mig21 and Mig27s are nearly at the end of their lives. We have kept upgrading them to the extent possible and it won't be possible to keep them flying for another 5-6 years (Jag and Mig27). Mig 21 needs to be phased out much sooner and replaced with Tejas.
Once the current upgrading phase is over, IAF will have only 6 fighter aircraft - Mirage, Rafale, Su30MKI, Mig27s and Mig29s and Tejas.
In the year 2030, IAF should only have Rafale, Su30MKI, FGFA, Tejas, 1 new ground bomber & 1 new MMRCA.

Modi-Parrikar will be exposed by Congress over Rafales deals in 2019 when it comes to power. This matter is more shoking than Bofors.

Mitesh the brainless man, keep on watching day dreams like Mungerilal
Thanks some one has woked up.MNS has come forward to THROW PAKI artists out of India. They don't deserve to stay on this land when their Govt is killing our JAWANS.
writing stories for Chota Bheem cartoon series or oggy and the cockroaches. After reading this piece of junk, it seems only the author knows everything and PM & DM are clueless
in 1974 when nuclear testing was done, usa banned us along with france and everybody else only russia supported , even supplied some tech to enable. Further we require high altitude weight carrying carriers and su 35 is cheap, it will come in more nos, are of long range, faster then both paf and iaf sqaud even then rafale...
This guy works for boeing and naturally he talks high about the F 18 which Boeing has offered to India..From Day 1 this idiot has been speaking against Rafale due to his vested interests..Needless to say Rafale is the best fighter which France has and is offered to India
What is being attempted to drive home is the PM cooked some meal in the name of DM.
And either or both kept Ajai thoroughly updated on the issue.
Or Ajai is fabricating something on the basis of bofors and such subsequent defense transactions by the old witch trying to imply that the saffron administration is treading the same path.
The way he has presented anyone would doubt and accept the theory of a tradition of defense purchase scams particularly buying prohibitively priced war planes.
