In a population of 130 crores, we do not need all above, must be hanged. No one talks to control unwanted population.

You will be magnanimous to yourself the day you can bend your back to such an extent that you can 1ick your own ... :-)
Cronyism can definitely be reduced. As the economy expands, it will put enormous pressure on resources. It will push at its edges. Coal was lying underneath us for millions of years till a few years ago we found that we can use this for the huge demand of energy we have. Suddenly those who could pounce on it ... did it. When others did not get a chance to pounce we the people got to know about it. The same with spectrum- it was always there- its only now that we want more spectrum- those who had the clout pounced on it. That is just a natural way to go about it. In a game some moves are developed after the game is played many times over. Rules of games come in much later- after mistakes and disputes about right and wrong ways. It is no different in any other nation. Europe too has its share of 'fooling people' politicians. But their issues are at a different plane than ours. Their issues dont impact daily living- our issues can push us to drudgery and risk to life. However I will read this since it does present reality of our times.

Greatest need is to control unwanted population growth which is 2 crore each year without any back up.
and the POSCOs and the Mittals and the Birlas and the Agarwals and .......have all wantonly destroyed the environment wherever they have been allowed to mine for minerals. The Ambanis are the equivalent of these groups in the hydrocarbon sector.
Yet, each of these predators has been put up on a high pedestal due to the mistaken notion of their role in the true development of the country.
In the Indian context, there are hardly any exceptions that the writer Josy Joseph is alluding to !
When Arundhati Roy pointed this out with facts and data and sources of such data, she was roundly condemned by ignorant dumbass*s as being anti-national, all without ever reading a single one of her pieces in full.
A countrys long term future is definitely decided by the awareness and good judgement of its commoners; and India is one of the countries whose future is well and truly doomed owing to the absence of the above !

Arudhanti Roy is a mischievious lady and always support the people and movements against the interest of the country. and the bias and colour blind people like Komaaaaaali Piri, who has nothing to do except writing long and useless comments support them.

Your comments are prejudiced and against all humanity. All upper caste today are greatest sufferer in India, they come to competitive edge with highest marks obtained, still treated people like you as IInd class citizen. If one thinks that with such hate spreading India can prosper without them, not possible. Last 65 years could not yield desired results.

Why are my comments prejudiced and against all humanity ?
Please be specific!
Do you dispute the facts regarding how the Vedantas, the Agarwals, etc. have over exploited the hills and forests and mines without taking the mandated alleviation measures ?
Do you dispute the fact that they have been allowed to do so by winking regulators ?

They contributed maximum to India by way of freedom struggle, maximum taxes they are paying, charity and other matters, competing without any favour, still people like you who are always creating rift in society are against them. Hardly you will find with them any criminal.

Once again, be specific.
No generalised statements please.
Well, here is the first example for you to chew on.
The Agarwal group was handed over the Zinc mines in Rajasthan in 2003 by the Vajpayee govt under the premise of public sector disinvestment along with the ownership of M/s Hindustan Zinc Ltd.
Any idea what the price at which the public sector company and the mines were handed over was ?
Any idea ?
Any idea what the CAG wrote about this deal of the Vajpayee govt ?
Any idea how this single measure has led to a virtual private monopoly of Zinc and Zinc products in India ?
Any idea how Binani Zinc (which was not favoured by the Vajpayee govt) has found it hard to compete since they could not become croxny capitalists as the Agarwals could ?
Any idea about the quantum of royalties being paid by the Agarwals to the govt for mining of Zinc as well as Silver (yes, Silver) ?
Any idea about the average prices realised by the Agarwals over the past more than a decade for the zinc taken by it from those Rajasthan mines ?
Any idea that this deed is in plain terms, handing over a rich public resource to private hands for a pittance ?
We shall take up other examples after we are through with this one.

May be her family circumstances would be responsible for for her negativity , but she stood for Negativity in life. Please high light her creative part for the society consist of common man.

Arundhati Roy was charged with seditionalongwith separatist leaders like Ayed Alishah Ghilani and others by Delhi police for anti India speech at a convention on Kashmir "Azadi the only way " in 2010. She joined Megha patkar against Narmada Dam Project. She was sentenced for one day by the Supreme Cour with a fine of Rs 2,500. She underwent imprisonment and paid fine to avoid further one month in prison. She also protested against death sentence of Mohd. Afzal. She is known for creating controversey all the time . She has not done anything remarkable on literature side after receiving Man & Booker price for fiction in 1997 and mainly involving herself in movements against the country.
