The Vedantas
by piri on Sep 16, 2016 12:32 AM

and the POSCOs and the Mittals and the Birlas and the Adanis and the.......have all wantonly destroyed the environment wherever they have been allowed to mine for minerals or put up massive business infrastucture. The Ambanis are the equivalent of these groups in the hydrocarbon sector.

Yet, each of these predators has been put up on a high pedestal due to the mistaken notion of their role in the true development of the country.

In the Indian context, there are hardly any exceptions that the writer Josy Joseph is alluding to !

When Arundhati Roy pointed this out with facts and data and sources of such data (eg. : the Vedantas plans to strip the Niyamgiri hills in Orissa and destroy an entire eco-system and the livelihoods of lakhs of people, she was roundly condemned by ignorant dumbass*s as being anti-national, all without ever reading a single one of her pieces in full.

A countrys long term future is definitely decided by the awareness and good judgement of its commoners; and India is one of the countries whose future is well and truly doomed owing to the absence of the above !

Probably the author has been fed of such stories by congress stooges. The author should realise that during the erlier period, he was not even allowed to say any worcds. He should be thankful that atleast he has been allowed to say. Its is like intolerance of some commies and artists saga recently

RSS-BJP-Led-NDA Govt. Stands Indisputably Upright And Honest !
by rishi on Sep 15, 2016 01:13 AM

.....the author and his ilk's intent to double-speak on corruption through such books which no one could dare to release in sonia-rahul's regime as congress has always been successful in converting people like this author joseph into stooges by catering to their greed leading to their wilful participation in corruption. RSS-BJP has effectively proved to be honest and focussed on economic dedvelopment reaching out to the doorstep of every Indian in their governance which is gaining popularity in leaps and bounds both in India and abroad....this is what is alarming the stooges of congress and converts like joseph who got used to easy life and easy money through their duplicitious NGOs which all need to strictly checked from indulging in such criminalities as promotion of corruption they got away with for 60-70years.

The Author And His Ilk Slept For 60-70-years.......
by rishi on Sep 15, 2016 12:57 AM

......other than promoting their books now which they could not dare to do in congress regimes.....congress knew how to make people like him wilful-participants in corruption. RSS-BJP is above all corruption and therefore does not consider it necesary 'buy joseph and his ilk and turn them to stooges like congress always did'.As a conscious citizen however, I wonder why RSS-BJP-Led-NDA is so liberal with such crafty people as Joseph clearly appears to.....the intent being to malign RSS-BJP consaidering that an almost-fatally wounded congress has hardly anyhting left to lose other than the looted wealth of 60-70yrs of misrule which they are now using to project their nuisance value in their bid to stay relevant on the face of the humiliating phasing out they are being dealt by a progressive young electorate of 21st century India.

Words of Macaulay rings to my ears.
by indianpatriot on Sep 15, 2016 12:33 AM

In 1857 when the British were introducing English education to the Indians - Macaulay was the first to protest it.

He declared - "Power is now being transferred to the rogues, criminals and crooks. They will get educated but will remain crooks and subjugate the rest of the population."
How true it has been

Raman Krishnaswamy
Remembering Sir Winston Churhill
by Raman Krishnaswamy on Sep 14, 2016 11:08 PM

When Churchill opposed about granting independence to India, our leaders scoffed at him. What he said " “Power will go to the hands of rascals, rogues, freebooters; all Indian leaders will be of low calibre & men of straw. They will have sweet tongues and silly hearts. They will fight amongst themselves for power and India will be lost in political squabbles. A day would come when even air and water would be taxed in India.” has proved true many times over.
