The core issue, in my view, is that the survival of the Pakistan Army is based on its 'Hate India Campaign' and making Pakistanis believe that India is their biggest enemy. If you take these out of the equation, this army and the money it spends are not needed at all. Unless the civilian government is able to assert itself and cut the army to size, nothing will change on the ground.

Pakistanis are spunkless!.Pakistan Army to hang on to the power/ control power, has been projecting India as an enemy nation with constant threat for past 69 yrs!!! all wars fought till now were initiated by Pak Army. the late Zulfikar Bhutto had claimed to fight war for 1000 years to claim Kashmir,even if Pakistan has to eat GRASS !!!!
