Aum is derived of three letters-Aa-vu-ma. These sounds are the sounds of nature. In every sound, you can notice either one or combination or two or all the three letters. Aa generates energy vibrations in your naval portation,vu generates vibrations in your chest and Mmm generates vibrations in your skull. You can do this experiment. sit straight in sukhasan in empty stomach. Go on saying as loud as possible Aa, Aa, Aaaaaaa till the end of breath. Observe the naval portion shrinking inside your abdomen. Now chant Vu, Vu, Vooooo. You can notice vibrations in your chest and then say Mmmm, Mmm, Mmm, you can notice vibrations in your skull. When all these 3 letters combained and said together, it is Aum. 3 and half matra time required to chant Aum once. Aa is one matra time (\'matra\' means the time taken to say a particular letter. Vu is one matra, Mmm is one matra time. You require a time of half matra time to chant Aum next. While chanting Aum, the kinetic energy in your body stimulates from Mooladhar & it will ends at Sahasrar when you stop telling Aum. Repeated chanting of Aum, will awake Kundalini or Kinetic energy in your body, thereafter it will help you to do the Transdental Meditation or Vaccum Meditation which is \'the first step\' in the spiritual path and to achieve trans or \'samadhi\' status. This will recharge the cells in our entire body which can be achieved from doing Pranayama. As it helps to attain samadhi status, chanting Aum is meditati
If some one do this experiment - 1. Have deep breath to the fullest of your capacity 2. Close your eyes 3. Make round of your lips 4. Leave the air slowly through your mouth 5. Have sound like oooom 6. When you have some air left, then close your mouth, keep upper jaw very very gently on lower jaw (your teeth should feel vibrations) 7. These vibrations will reach to your brain
These vibrations actually impulse nerves in the brain.
This is power of word "oooooom".....
This is logical word and no religious talk should be attached to this word.
