As long as Indian Constitution upholds the eligibility criteria currently in force for becoming an MLA or MP or Minister, we will get our elected representatives like Iranis and Rabris... Nonaccountable media will thrive on their follies, rather than probing on their virtues, if any.

Who has given the right to Media to question anyone? Does the public have the right to question their loyalties or what they indulge in when not reporting? Have we got the right to check medias' credentials whether or not their interests are national or anti-national? or is the MEDIA above all laws?

We will not add adarniya, etc. except for our parents. Period! If a man can be addressed as Dear, why not a woman? Huh?
Is that the subject of a debate between responsible politicians, educations ministers, checking on how one addresses the other? !
Our politicians are clueless and with incompetent bureaucrats around them, things still happen despite them! People look after themselves, somehow. If they can't they have to rely on MNREGA. That's the hard fact.

about many issues and its not just sufficeint in rediff bol the author writes . The way of writing is in poor taste and show the ignorance of the author. where was this type of authros when we had a central minister who didnt leave even cow eating fodder . didnt the author knew about such golden issues . its complete darkness of vision by author who venture into this type of acts. I dont agree with author. when country has several poblems like china troops occupying the author cashes on some unproductive and useless aspects. WEll if the vision is poor, this is a contrast to the long term and clear vision of Narendra Modi. Will, he pick up and continue with a person of poor vision. I may be wrong .. but why people are so jealous about Smriti. is it because she came from poor back ground and minimal educational qualification and from film back ground? .. Well she may be just a 12th passed out .. but her language, Q&A, debate capability, reasoning and preparation to address people/international audience is much better and way ahead of most of the parliamentarians.. Trolling her is like people choosing soft targets ..

Hi is there a way where we could ask for a Performance report of each MP to be published. We as citizens would like to know what were there vision and what they have implemented.Also there should be a forum set up and monitored closely on a yearly basis and not wait for the elections to come and give false promises. We are fed up on the media listening only to war between each parties and not highlighting these types of basic issues related to health education, transport, jobs,and clean utilization of central and state funds. We are totally clueless as to what is happening on these sectors.

just because your minister can talk does not mean she talks sense. Most of the time its melodrama, hyperbole, false claims and lies , said for effect than any substance.Only thing most of the people in this govt know is how to use social media for circulating one sided propaganda and tall claims devoid of substance.Since social media is mostly peopled by younger set they get swayed by these Goebbelian manipulation of facts.
