Elimination of Child labour in total is not possible in a short time. However, we can create awareness about its demerit among the common people,it can be reduced to some extent. It should be continued.

People in the name of religion or because of ignorance, go on producing children though they are not financial capable to feed even child or two children. The children born because of no fault of theirs, to feed the stomach do labour works. later, many of them become pick-pocketers, chain snatchers, or anti social elements. Can any Government feed the children produced by humans like street dogs? Is there any practical solutions by anti child labour organizations ? Who are responsible for child labour? The parents who have produced the children.

Illiteracy and ignorance are the main causes for more birth. During late 50s govt advertised for 3 children, later for 'We two and for ours two' and later for ONE IS OK etc. However it is being controlled certain extent. Still we will have to continue advises.
Re: Child labour it has been restricted as per the data furnished above except Goa.
Child Labour: Kerala is the least 0.65%, next being TN 2.1% and followed by others-reason being literacy.
Strict law to be enforced and govt should encourage poor children feeding as is being done by TN.

Banning Child labour
by Ravindra Junagade on Jun 14, 2016 04:28 PM  | Hide replies

Before removing the child labourer his / her rehabilitation must be ensured. That is decent living, nutritious food and quality education. Sadly it is largely overlooked. Then what right we have to stop them working for their survival?

DO BEGGERS HAVE THEIR FAMILY ?
by aam admi on Jun 14, 2016 02:46 PM

IF YES , THEN WHO CAN PREVENT SUCH CHILDREN, WHO ARE NOT FED BY THEIR PARENTS AND OBVIOUSLY JOIN ARMY OF BEGGERS OR CHILD LABOUR. ONE HAS TO DO SOME THING TO SURVIVE, IF SOCIETY IS SO INDIFFERENT TO THEM.
SOCIAL PROBLEMS CAN NOT BE SORTED OUT BY MAKING ONLY LAWS , IT REQUIRES THE WILL OF THE SOCIETY AND ITS PEOPLE. DO WE HAVE SUCH WILL ?
