the reason why british left india was the courage,bravery shown by sikhs and lives laid down by sikhs to fight against indepedence.if you want to see the sacrifice of sikhs for independence anybody can check the records in andabar and nicobar islands in kala pani jail where 92% were sikhs hanged by britishers from whole of india.
We got independence because of mutiny in the then Navy and not because of Gandhi or Nehru. During the mutiny, Subhashji Bose was not in India. Because of Gandhi and Nehru's support against Subhshchandra Bose, Britishers had no problem with Subhashji.

This Mutiny of British Indian Navy was not an isolated action, but a simultaneous occurrence of Azad Hind Fouz (INR)'s victory for liberation of Andaman & Nicober Islands (Shahid and Swaraj Dweep), where there was a big base of British Indian Navy, which rechristened as Independent Indian Navy under INR.
Other all Indian political parties and leaders were to compromise with British for a good political position and benifit of own political party.Netaji was not like that Violance for Indian benifit and an independent India but not Swaraj. We all know the difference between Swaraj and Independent.
Now days all political parties are using freedom fighter name & fielding their son & daughters as candidate in election, for the sake of winning the election. I don't whether they are going achieve their target or not, because most of the well know politicians children are fail due to dishonest shown by the present politician, towards their view. Like Dr. B.R.Ambedkar son, Mahatma Gandhi Son etc… Their view entirely different from the present politician, they thought if we got any position in politics to do benefit towards needy people.that will not happen due to corrupt politician & bureaucracy.
Netaji was a great man.India got freedom because of not one man but also because of so many known and unknown faces who stood against the British regime embracing violence and nonviolence.The present regime might try to distort historical facts by publishing in rediff and fb and twitter that will hold good with lazy people just glancing front pages of paid news.But remember truth always prevails.
Congress has been committing the sin of grabbing the entire credit of independence. All congressis propagate that Gandhi and Nehru brought the freedom. They had been successful in doing this. Why we discard the contributions of Netaji, Bhagatsing, Azad, Khudiram Bose,....endless list. Even today nearly seventy years of experience, Congressis have not produced a single leader to lead this garbage party!! Shame on Congressis and Nehru family. They have and are looting this country.
