Steel Dome Solution
by Tameem Saied on Jan 04, 2016 04:59 PM  | Hide replies

There is one and only one solution to end proxy war or any sort of attack from across the border:
One nuclear strike in a complete desert region of Pak.
Minimum, possibly zero casualties and maximum political impact.

But to do this, India needs 100% protection from a Pak nuclear counter. Hence, a Steel Dome (for it should be better than Iron Dome systems of Israel) missile defence system has to be implemented. It is possible that the existence of the missile shield system itself will end terror as Pak will know what is to come next.

Plan B: Steel Dome followed by Aerial bombing of JEM /LET training camps. No country will find fault with this, and credit can be given to Pak Intelligence for giving India the Intel.

Totally wrong. Symbolic acts have no effect on Pakistan.

The suggestion is due to wishful thinking of Indians who are unable to persuade themselves to fight the war the way all wars have to be fought, by physically killing the enemies.

Nuclear strike has to be on densely populated places of the enemy country, and not just one but the maximum number of available weapons have to be used with a proper dispersal over densely populated targets to obtain maximum possible number of casualties of enemy.

There is no practical way to fight a war without having to kill the enemy nor would it make any sense. Indians should stop looking for soft options that involve fighting without killing and instead look for fighting with maximum technically achievable killing.

Mr Modi and his gang in past used to ridicule Congress as soft. It was his election campaign. They claimed to be more patriotic than others and promised to bring Pakistan to submission once they get power.I do not think in past ever our people in border area have to flee from their homes from Pakistan firing which happened only during Modi's rule.

India will be taken five years back by Shri Modi, and once UPA comes back we will progress in the next 15-20 years.
India's Karma is linked to the Nehru Family, especially as Nehru went to prison for India's Freedom and two of the clan have been Martyred, giving the descendants the Spiritual Right to lead India. The present government's mentors had no part to play in the Freedom Movement and are spiritually negative for our Nation's collective prosperity. This is why tragedies have been increase and public suffering is peaking in India since May 2014:
Floods and Drought have increased, Corruption has not decreased, anti-Corrupt Kejri is being stonewalled, Kirti Azad is harassed, murders increase in MP and no control of inflation. Money and time being wasted on "saffronization". "Saffronization" cannot pay our bills, nor fight Pak nor create jobs nor upgrade Science-Technology. We need more Kalams not more Ramdevs . We need more bandwidth, not Gau Mutra. We need cheaper electricity, not shocking Yoga postures. Modiji needs to listen than yap all day on "Mann ki Baat".

It is true that thinking habits and attitudes are inherited through family, especially when the back ground is a backward society that discourages people from becoming free of tradition or family customs.

In developed societies that cultivate freedom of thought, the children set their own independent course and attitudes. India is very far from that.

So it s that the Nehru family inherited their ideas. More importantly their supporters in the general population believe in this property of families, hence the extreme loyalty.

From cuckoo land!

This man seems to have come from Cuckoo land. Military to military contact will be useful to remove trust deficit! As if Pakistan is sending terrorists so that trust can be re-instated! How did this man become a brigadier?

By all means improve military to military contact but don't forget what Pakistan's agenda is.

In psychology they know of a phenomenon like loving your rapist or loving your enemy. This is useful in brainwashing of Prisoners Of War too.

Since Pakistan has successfully killed Indian civilians without any retaliation, it creates a strong tendency in Indians to praise, love, or sympathize with them.

It is perfectly normal for humans to become like that, and will not come in way of fighting the enemy id war is actually started by India. However the views expressed by such people, including the present Brigadier, most of the upper civilian officials of Ministries of External Affairs, Defence, and the like have to be taken as their expected peace time efforts to find personal protection from the duty of taking the country to war.

Once some process does get get the war begun, these people will mostly go quite and wait for peace time when they can pop up like Jacks In The Box to again feel important as messengers promoting civilized behavior between countries.

Though all appears good in above, but first political will is to be jotted down on paper about solution of problem, so that it becomes part of world opinion. When Modi and Nawaz are ready, let them first resolve the issues.

The Pakistan Army and ISI want to show Mr. Modi, Mrs. Sushma Swaraj that they are the real masters and decision makers and they care a hoot for any amount of talk with Mr. Nawab Sherif or Secretary level meetings.

other BJP leaders, who raised an extremely shrill din in Parliament and outside when the Congress led UPA sought to carry on the dialog process with Pakistan in the face of terror attacks and ridiculed the govt suggesting that it was too *soft* on the enemy, now keeps saying that continuing the dialog process even in the face of these attacks is vitally important !!

Modi and his stupxid followers are all sure that no one will remember what he said earlier during the UPA rule !!

Let's assume you have a point. (My counter-point is below, as a separate post.) And what do the followers of UPA say now about Modi Govt's actions, which according to you were sound when done by UPA?

Did I ever imply that the UPA policies were good, little one ?

I pointed to the effective lack of distinction between the UPA and NDA foreign policies (just as there is little to distinguish between the two in economic policies too).

Indian commoners have got themselves stuck between two similar parties believing that they are different !

There is a distinct change in the foreign policy and defence policy of Modi as compared to UPA.

For one, Modi is not following Manmohan Singh's policy of dismantling Indian assets in Pakista. Modi has been aggressive in developing close relations with Japan, Australia, Vietnam, USA, Canada , Germany and UK. This is all in the right direction.
