well i think those who had raised anti india slogans should face the law and should be behind bars, no mercy should be shown to them.

and a piece of advise to bjp mla, let judiciary take the action, don't take the law in your hand.

University is to study not to hold demonstrations idiots
by ameet d patil on Feb 17, 2016 12:57 PM

You are lucky to have priviledge to study on tax payers money and still you hold demonstrations which caused all the trouble. You deserve to be punished not by teachers who are helpless but by law

JNU and HYD Central University/Jadhavpur
by raghavan raghavan on Feb 17, 2016 12:47 PM  | Hide replies

Universities are educational Institutions. Students job is to study and come out with degrees and not to take up political issues, which they can do after coming out of Universities. Public are paying for their studies. It must be understood by Students and Professors. It will be a sad day, if these institutions and students are under control of Left/right or Centrist political forces. These students are getting paid heavily by anti national forces. Prime Minister of the country need not respond on such provocative issues where there are institutions available to maintain law order who will address such situations.

Look carefully all the photos of JNU row : Are they really poor ?

Why they need Rs.2,92,000/- every year per student ? Tax payers hard earned money ?

we can save precious life of so many farmers with this money.

by hema sankar on Feb 17, 2016 12:43 PM

What is the rank of this GREAT university ?
university is for learning , not for anti national activities which is on record now.
Better to shut down the university than wasting tax payer money to suport anti national activites when our soldiers are dying to protect us

Centre is trying to silence JNU
by on Feb 17, 2016 12:35 PM

JNU is an educational Institution and the students there are supposed to study and not to resort to anti-national activities. If this institution is used for anti-national activities, it is not the government, bu the public will get it shut down. Creating nuisance and anti national activities are not to be learned in an Institution in side India. The ultimate result will be the future of the students pass out from the Institution for the reason that no good Industry or Govt. offices will not give them jobs for fear of the negative activities they learned from there. I know rediff is not going to post anything positive I write.

So called intelectuals!
by R.S.Pandey on Feb 17, 2016 12:31 PM  | Hide replies

You have right to criticize but in the name of freedom of expression, you are criticizing judiciary, executives, parliament and all other institutions/establishment. In short, you don't believe in India. So you are free to move anywhere.

You are selective in your criticism. You criticize BJP for Rohith suicide as Dalit factor (He was not Dalit at all) but you are silent on Bangalore incident where a Tanzanian girl was assaulted. You have time to go to Hyderabad to support Rohith's cause but no time to visit Hanuanthappa who was battling for his life in Delhi.

Can you pl tell me your contribution to society?

Per student more than Rs.2,92,000/- per year, is paid by Indian Tax payers.

I pay tax.

I don't support any political party, but Hard earned tax paid money is going waste.
