Wait for more, Dheeran
by Srinivas on Dec 23, 2016 10:26 AM  | Hide replies

Rama Mohan Rao was handpicked by Amma as Chief Secretary, overlooking 22 other more senior/ efficient bureaucrats. Rao's troubles means bigger troubles for a lot of AIADMK Ministers and Politicians, and that is Dheeran's problem, not the uninformed entry into the Secretariat.

Rightly said. How can a raid be informed in advance? Then what is the use of the raid? The concerned person will definitely hide his ill-gotten wealth. Dheeran should not think that he is a lord. He should understand & respect the Central Government as his founder Dr. MGR used to do. MGR never used to confront the Central leadership. At that time it was Indira Gandhi as PM.

TN Tax Raid
by on Dec 23, 2016 10:10 AM  | Hide replies

For making a raid, it is foolish to say prior information should have been given. It has to be kept secret, otherwise you are giving a chance for the bird to flew away unscathed. In a democracy is it required for the police to make a raid in the MC Office after giving an advance information that they are going to conduct a raid ? The purpose will be defeated. They are also talking like Kajriwal or Mamta Banerjee. They can do anything in the name of democracy by supporting anti-nationals, black money hoarders and chit fund scamsters, but when action taken by the concerned authorities, it becomes undemocratic ? What a justification ?

For any raid the competent authority has to give a letter of authority for the purpose. If not given any body could decline permission to enter the premises. As said above means, all sorts of unscrupulous fellows do such acts of threats.

In this case TN Govt officially not committed yet.
