the centre has the power but it did not do 'anything' as you said. It caught a thief you was your lieutenant who has brought shame on the state and its government and the act has stung you only because of the result -- not the act itself; that is why you are scowling.

'who happened to be your lieutenant' and you didn't care about all he was up to? --and you don't want your head to act promptly?

Then Mr. Papayya , you are not familiar with the ways and processes of the government and its officers. The plans are worked out in the office itself , whether for public welfare or private good. Just recall , so many bureaucrats and their cronies were arrested from the very seats and cabins which they occupied in government buildings.

Loot under the nose of Govt.
by Kundapur Kumar on Dec 23, 2016 08:25 PM

Chief secretary of the Tamil Nadu govt. looted 7000 crore under the nose of chief minister / other ministers and Tamil Nadu govt and they are ignorant? Now AIADMK leaders are upset that no information about the raids was provided to them so that he can help to hide the looted treasure.

Mr Dheeran should know that right under their nose such things are happening...either they are party to the frauds of the babus their contractors or they are allowing them to swindle peoples money. If that be the case which central agency will inform the politicians.

Raid in TN Sectt
by MNN on Dec 23, 2016 03:52 PM

If the central agencies have to conduct raids , they should do it .Giving prior information, informing leaders, should not enter our Secretariat are all of no importance to the centre.
The bonus is on the persons occupying the chair & positions not to misuse. if you misuse it , they need to be punished . The others tell them to shut up.

Raid in TN Sectt.
by Gladyschellam on Dec 23, 2016 02:56 PM  | Hide replies

Whether it IT or CBI or any Vigilance when raid is made: At the time of raid, a letter of Authority with specifying the purpose issued by a Competent Authority of respective dept has to be given. Here in this case IT officials would have followed the prescribed the rules and regulations. Definitely before entering the house of Chief Secy they would have handed over this authority to him and also to the places where raids were made.

In TN Sectt similar letter would have been given to the competent officer concerned and proceded with. Had it not been given, TN govt would not have allowed IT people to scrutinize its files.

Further TN Govt not given any disgust report agst this raid officially. Only AIADMK official spokesperson expressed his party's displeasure over the raid. It is political.

Do you think without that, secretariat would have allowed that?

Definitely the secretariat would not have allowed to scrutinize its files (related to particular case) without proper authenticity in writing by the competent authority from IT dept.
