There is no fool-proof safety for Digital transactions. So are cash transactions which have their own draw backs. Only difference is that fraudsters in respect of cash transactions have to be there at the scene of crime where as digital transactions frauds can be committed from anywhere in the world. More over to switch over to digital transactions on such a large scale and with such a great haste, all of a sudden, with a large part of our population woefully ignorant about usage of digital platforms, passwords, password secrecy, etc, and with our police force not equipped with sufficient equipment and manpower to handle digital crimes, it is going to be a field day for fraudsters. The fact that IT-advanced states like Karnataka and Maharastra have not shown much progress in cracking digital cases indicates the level of preparedness and expertise our cyber crime police possess. No doubt the government is rushing into areas filled with mine-fields where angels fear to tread.

Let your voice be for the good of the nation!!! I also learnt from the office of SBI Card that hackers do not require OTP to hack credit/debit cards from abroad.
SBI card issued a credit card to me and on the same day i.e., before the card received by me, the card was hacked. The card was used for purchasing something from WALMART over 30K. So do not mislead your country-men. Know that most of the people in the country are not computer educated!!!

Digital transaction vulnerability is impacting across the internet work. This is not limited to geography. In fact, India has the best data security specialists who manage systems / process across the world. In fact India has good data security laws also. It is only that we have to start giving it importance by following simple steps like. 1. Not sharing passwords 2. Sharing Debit / Credit card with friends 3. Be careful about your digital foot print in the internet world. Decent data security habits will help to negate it, if not eradicate completely.

Closing you eyes give darkness. After lapsing my 26000 Rs even wasting 2 months my FIR was not lodge. Neither bank nor police want to indulge in the implications above all the police In charge telling me the story that my friend hack the site of BOB and took 5Cr from the bank and nothing happened to him, so you wont get recovery, i was just spellbound. Now think how safe digital transaction is?
Cyber crime such as credit/debit card frauds will see huge surge. Banks, insurance agencies need to provide insurance for such crimes free of cost for high value and digital transaction loyal customers
Over 1,37,000 people were killed in road accidents in 2013 alone, that is more than the number of people killed in all our wars put together. Any critics of Digital Transactions / Demonetisation should stop come out from home in fear of getting killed in RTA. I mean to say, Digital Transactions is much more safer than Indian Transport System
Digital transactions are much more safer than the Trasport Systems in India. If you can sacrifice your life while travelling in trains or buses , why you can not sacrifice some money ( almost nil) to make Indian economy more transparent
