In South India the common people were not affected by Indira's emergency. Only opposition leaders were scared. Now ordinary people are the ones most affected by demonetization.

In south India also common people were affcted..In Kerala,Karnatka and Andhra many people were disappeared during emergency..But it is still a "Paradox' that why South Indians voted for Congress in 1977.

The joke will be on you my friend. We have been given promises by Modi and his ilk for the past 2 plus years. Apart from a fake sense of "nationalism" being shoved down our reluctant throats nothing viable can be seen. Apart from "what did the previous Government as compared to what we have done" what else is new. Modi forgets and very conveniently that whatever he has taken over from has been done by the previous Govrnment and he is only carrying it forward. So stop fooling us the citizens. 1975 emergency put fear in people especially in opposition people but 2016 emergency declared by PM is also similar.People are devoid of cash that they need. Need to stand in queue for that every now and then. Many died due to such irresponsible decision. This is nothing less than immaturity.
