money withdraw and money exchange
by venu pillai on Dec 23, 2016 02:47 PM

Our Hon PM addressed for exchange of 4500 and balance to deposit in account and withdraw from account @ Rs. 24000/- per account per week. But the common man is not getting the said amount either from Bank or ATM at the same time crores of New notes available with politicians and their supporters, even IT raided those amount, Why the said amount has till not come in the banks for circulation. If those amounts circulated in proper manner then the there is no necessary for the conman man to struggle. All the banks should be scanned in connection with the release of amount form 9th Dec, 2016 to till date. If the proper work circulation of amount has been done by RBI and all banks as per the published instructions of our Hon. PM the suffering of common man could have been eradicated.

ATMs

You did a great job by conducting such a survey.

It would have been immensely greater if you survey the rural areas of India where there is a single bank in about 5-10 km. area.

That report maybe really helpful to the authorities. Thanks.

Role of Bank and judiciary
by voleti Rao on Dec 16, 2016 04:03 PM  | Hide replies

Long time back ( two years) an ad appeared for suggestions invited by parliament committee about the for improving Bank"s performance. Few suggestions were made by me. One of this was without involvement of middle persons such as lawyers, Bank agents (employees Private agent) as I was one of the victim by IDBI and being Govt employee was paid thru nose and still fighting. Notes get diverted with connivance of private agents employed by Banks as is seen today. Unfortunately our judiciary with snail's pace becomes only spectator towards the suffering of the sincere citizens so that the actual culprits have breathing time.

I guess for all over India, RBI should create an entity that will install and manage ATMs under its control only. The money required for each ATM shall be arranged by RBI directly and suitable debit advice would be sent to concerned bank in respect of withdrawals. No bank (private or public) shall install or manage ATMs in the country. To some extent, this would prove to be in the interest of the nation and might work well.

Your Poll is as true as Modi's promises
by Musalmaan Masala on Dec 12, 2016 09:32 PM

If there is any truth in your so called "survey" the truth is that it is as true to fact as Modi's dramatics and promises of everything becoming hunky dory in India from Jan 1st 2017 magic when he will wave and poof India will flow with milk and honey.

The bad news is that Modi is now changing his stance by the day. But what gets to me is people pardoning him and blaming the banks, RBI Governor, the politicians and all and sundry BUT NOT THE MAN WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS FIASCO - Narendra Modi.

availability of new currency notes
by Edward Serrao on Dec 12, 2016 05:10 PM

Your question on availability of new currency notes to the people is misquided and shrouded in mystery favouring Modi. The Questions you should have asked "Are Rs. 500 & 100 notes easily available" and the answer would be 99% no. Very easily available notes - and the answer would by 100% YES for Rs. 2000/- no one wants to have it. Forget about Que thinning but its never ending. A person 10th in the queue has to stand 45 mins for his turn. There is negligible queue in ATM where only Rs.2000 notes are available.

Are new currency notes available in your city?
by susarla suryaprakasam on Dec 12, 2016 12:46 PM

The captioned article bears a photo appropriately of Axis Bank, so far identified. What about other private banks who still are not running their ATMs at all who may have exchanged huge quantities of demonetized notes with new 2000/- notes in bulk, in crores. Govt. should send teams to investigate any malpractices.

I definitely agree with you. BJP have lost Delhi, Bihar, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu & Kerala very badly. It's do or die in UP. Hence this politics of demonitisation without proper planning. The common man were forced to stand in the never ending queues in ATMs & Banks and restricted withdrawal of our own money as if we staying in Dictator ruled country. Rich are enjoying the show alongwith Modi.

Can someone tell me how Modi Bin Tughlak is going to make a majority of our population who cannot read or write, sign cheques, fill bank forms, walk to banks leaving their farms and jobs to put in cheques and most of all transact with debit and credit cards their day to day dealings?
