Seems like a new form of journalism where the writers like Shenoy, use an interview with a little known person like Giriji Lal, to propagate these caste based agenda.

Wall up or break up Pakistan
by Bharat Kumar on Aug 16, 2016 12:08 PM

We must stop the dialogue with Pakistan, completely. Until they are demilitarized, the way Germany and Japan were disarmed after the world war.

Pakistan cannot and will not reconcile with India. That should be clear to anyone and everyone. So the best way to deal with Pakistan is to build a wall or break up that country using covert or overt means.

Those Kashmiris who are Pakistanis at heart, must be ignored. Which includes the existing political parties. If terror is unleashed on India, we must face up to it and defeat it ruthlessly. One or two incidents will silence the sympathizers.

There are far too many hawks and doves which are messing up the situation. It will also help if we silence the monkey chatter from the groups affiliated to the religious-political organizations - the mahasabha and the league and their descendants.

What we need are the humans with a mission. Let Mr Modi ask for a referendum to silence everyone and he will get it. But will he ask for one? That is really the moot point ! Until then, Brahmin/Vaisya mode will only take you so far.

Majority means more Responsibility
by Satyajeet Singh Yadava on Aug 16, 2016 11:12 AM  | Hide replies

The Hindus are the majority community and hence have more responsibility in preserving India's democratic values especially by not alienating its Dalit & Tribal population at the hands of few Zealots!Allahabad incident is an aberration & many Muslim Clerics have called upon their followers to celebrate the Independence day in full abundance which includes the National Anthem too?

Why clerics have to give a call to 'celebrate independence day', to muslims? Are they doing a favor by celebrating Independence day'?

You have a screwed up understanding of citizenship and democracy. It is everybody's responsibility to preserve Democracy not of one community. The moment you shift responsibility you also shift rights. Both go hand in hand. With freedom comes responsibility, with responsibility comes privilege(rights) you cant get to privilege escaping responsibility.
