We are getting statics;it is good.But what is need is the follow of such crime vis a vis action taken ,punishment meted out, furthur social awareness brought about in society by education, by affirmative action etc.There were reservation. Did we study the effect of it?Had it not been effective,why had we done.All our people write their caste names alongwith their first name ?What for?In the past people wrote it to get identified so as to be approached for their trademanship.Today Doctor,Engineer trademanship is not advertised by caste names.Why should we NOT drop it. Is it being brought about as elections in UP are near.What is the contribution of all the leadership of this country to eradicate caste system other than making individual voting right as group voting manipulation R.Ponnambalam

Atrocities on Dalits should be stop with immediate effect, they are human why u think raising voice against their right is bad news. If u r dalit than u can understand the pain.

No religion overtly professes the pursuit of purity of mind as much as Xtianity does (I think).
There is no other religion that calls its faithful to lengthy prayers with as much regularity and as much apparent introspective soul searching as Xtianity does, considering the content of so many sermons and encyclicals and........that are available in the public domain. By contrast, the weekly sermons of ixlamic mullahs appear very shallow and very much limited in appeal as they seem too much bound by their book.
By contrast, the lengthy discourses of hyndu acharyas and swamis appear too abstract and too much out of bounds for most lay men and women.
Yet, dear friend, there does not seem to be the slightest bit of difference between most followers of chritianity and those of other faiths in terms of any measure that reflects on the purity of the mind !
For example, chrittins in general appear to be very much as corrupt and venal as others in any position of power !!
Corruption, you will admit is unarguably the biggest real problem in India.
And if common chrittins are generally as corrupt as the others, what is the point in having those weekly sermons about purity of mind and love and whatever else with such unfailing regularity ?
