Arnab Goswami
by Anil Tandale on Sep 03, 2016 10:22 AM  | Hide replies

Arnab has only hard work as his investment which resulted in such acceptability. He does not invent intelligence out of illiteracy, nor merit out of mediocrity.

People are not fools

If Arnab commands such respect and following it is because he has earned it. If people are following him so much, it is because they find value in what he is saying. If people are not supporting Amnesty, it is because they are not finding much value in Amnesty. Please do not underestimate the intelligence of the common populace of this country.

We are intelligent enough to foster a democracy in a region surrounded by autocracy. We were also intelligent enough to topple the corrupt, inept government and bring in a honest, capable man as the PM of this country.

And Amnesty did not contribute an ounce to that effort.

I do not agree with the views of Mr. Patel. He is writing against only because there are questions on the controversial role of amnesty international in India

Influence of TV news bulletins
by Geetha RM on Aug 31, 2016 04:51 PM  | Hide replies

TV news, controlled by mega corporates has been doing tremendous damage to US society for many decades and the same thing is happening now in India. The pretension by the media that corruption is the only issue in our society brought BJP to power. Communalism of BJP is much more serrious than corruption of Congress.

Non implementation of laws is another serious problem in India and this is the cause of gang rapes, murders etc. Things are getting worse on this front after BJP came to power.

Is congress not communal? COngress's communalism is much more dangerous than so-called BJP's communalism..Infact congress is whole and sole responsible for making this country communally polarized by starting appeasement of minorities and punishing the majority religion.

Arnab channel is exceptional indeed!
by piri on Aug 18, 2016 11:23 PM  | Hide replies

When one flips across TV channels, there is only 1 channel that can be easily distinguished just from the nature of the topic being discussed in it, and that is the Arnab channel.

While other news channels such as NDTV, India today, CNN, etc. feature a wide range of topics and debates in them are relatively less marked by interruptions by those who debate, all one can hear in the Arnab channel (even when one hurriedly jams the remote to cross his channel fast on the way elsewhere) are shrieks of hyndu......muxlim......hyndu......terrorixt......hyndu......Pakistan......muxlim......terror......hyndu......anti-national... ..muxlim.......!

Pray, wont the man ever get tired with this monotone (even if he derives such good TRPs by having the stupxidest segment among Indians - the North Indian middle class - eating out of his hands) ?

And oh, wont that stupxidest segment among all Indians - the North Indian middle class - ever come by at least a wee bit of common sense ??

Show me one channel which is discussing the common man problems..The people are used to only supporting particular party ideologies and not the other one..When you come across a challen which supports the other ideology also, you start jumping up and down..This is absolutely biased

patel is being biased
by venkata ramana on Aug 18, 2016 12:25 PM  | Hide replies

mr patel just coz ur organisation is been discussed in that channel and exposing ur intent vis a vis india compared to other countries, u are branding him as negative. where were u all these days when arnab was debating for dalits in gujrat, in haryana?
set your house right first before you delve into others matter. i feel arnab at times is irritating but he has a valid point each and everytime he debates an issue.
