Shobha Warrier is a Congress stooge
by on Apr 08, 2016 02:16 PM

This writer is forgetting that after 65 years of Congress misrule our economy is on revival path. The corrupt Congress party and its leaders have quietly looted India and deposited all money in Swiss Bank accounts. Morever this author wants India to become a Sharia country under ISIS.

Extremely biased article
by Amit on Apr 08, 2016 11:43 AM  | Hide replies

The author is either pea brained or deliberately biased. She fails to realise that all local issues are being blown out of proportion to portray it as national issue.

Modi or BJP does not control everything in this country specifically not the babas or the fringe elements which are not associated with BJP.

But congress paid media tries to associate everything with Modi so as to create a fear factor among Muslims and Dalits.

For example there are 100s of riots in India in non BJP ruled states like Assam, UP, Rajasthan but none blamed the CM of that state for the riots. But then a riot broke up in Modi's Gujarat everyone started blaming him.

Similarly, 100s of Dalits have died during Congress regime but no one was bothered. One single death due to same issue and everyone started blaming Modi/BJP for it.

I am sad to state that " Only AMIT seems to be 'pea brained' to me ". Agreed that the Media is bent upon sensationalising all trivias except the REAL Progress. The Ganga ghats and the Ganga water seems neater. The roads and the temples are the same old - dirty & stinky but, at the ground level, there IS progress
WE CAN ONLY HOPE THAT THE LOWER CADRES OF BJP MANAGE TO KEEP THEIR LOUD MOUTHS SHUT FOR SOME MORE TIME AND GIVE MODI A CHANCE.!.THE MEDIA,CONTROLLED BY FDI FUNDS(USA)
will gloss over the DIRT AND STINK OF OUR SYSTEM ONLY since that is what USA wants the world to know INDIA FOR..!!..

Media is controlled by DFI Funds... and same FDI BJP is claiming as success... how contradicting BJP is... When People exposes them they say FDI is the issue... and at achievement side they say we have got more FDI

BJP vs. Rest
by arungopal agarwal on Apr 08, 2016 11:22 AM

A 20 20 match is being played in between BJP and rest of politicians, local issues are made national or international as if for every issue Modi is responsible, people do not have control on their children even legality in India do not provide any power to parents to control adult children, how leaders can control other lower ranked politicians.
Country needs drastic political, judicial and governance reforms, Modiji is trying it hard but speed appears to be very slow and it is slow. Indiscipline is a part of political career, Media-no control, people-not under control, control is only for tax payers by way of raising demand, other than this-no one is under control, as such either an emergency for one year is required to bring immediate reforms or democractically-it will take 10-15 years.

I paid a visit to Varanasi last fortnight and was surprised to see how clean the mighty Ganga is. The ghats were so clean that we could sit on the steps -- steps that had piles of excreta till recently. We could watch the sun rise to all its glory while live Hindustani music played in the background. It was magical. The stage, Subah-e-Benares, where musicians sing every morning, was inaugurated by Narendra Modi a few months ago.

How many in India know that the Ganga and its ghats are clean now? The one question I encountered from friends when I returned home to Chennai was, 'Is the Ganga clean now?' If the rest of the country has no knowledge about what is happening in Varanasi, who is to blame?

I feel this government has the worst PR machinery ever because it fails to publicise the good work it does. Don't they realise that they are committing hara-kiri by not clamping down on those who talk nonsense and create tension, confusion and panic instead of crowing loudly about its many achievements?

Word of mouth is the best publicity. It takes time but it works wonders.Despite what the fifth columnists keep on saying for their bread and butter, our growth story is unfolding like never before. And the people who vote are the vast masses and not the few pseudo intellectuals and people with their own agenda.

Which ghats did you go to and noticed were clean ? There are so many ghats on the Ganga in Varanasi.

Can you name the clean ghats you saw ? The Tulsi ghat ? The Reeva ghat ? The Manasarovar ghat ? The Shankaracharya ghat ? The Assi ghat ?

Which one ?

And what about the quality of the water now ?

It is no longer black or greyish black anywhere ?

No froth as usual anywhere on the Ganga ?

No floating garbage as usual anywhere on the river ?

No strings of garlands, no dead fish floating, no trapped plastic bottles or plastic bags as usual ?

No discharge of millions of litres of untreated sewage from the city into the river anymore ?

No discharge of dyes, chemicals and other dirt from the thousands of sari making units and tanneries anymore into the Ganga at Varanasi or at Kanpur ?

No more dumping of half cremated bodies into the Ganga anymore ?

No more human defecation directly into the river anymore at any place along the river in Varanasi ?

All these practices, which have been going on for centuries, have been wiped away by the inauguration of a stage at Varanasi by Narendra Modi ?

All these practices have been effectively tackled by the hundreds of crores of rupees set aside ostensibly for the purpose by the Union government ??

Really ??

We have gone to Varanasi prior to BJP Govt. at centre and now, vast difference-only biased people always spreading hate cannot see the change.
