no one should be forced to do any thing.
Democracy means you have the choice.
At least spare Spiritual organization by such things .Not hoisting flag does not means that we are not patriotic.Any religion should not be forced to adhere by the rule.Infact our govrnment should discuss and talk to people of Madrasas and come out with a good solution.

Must hoist the national flag.

I must add that this year many madarsas (not all) did hoist the tricolor and celebrate ID, so that shld also be mentioned.

It can be verified from the coverage in the loacal hindi dailies.

Regarding hoisting of flag
by subramanya balaji on Sep 03, 2015 12:51 PM

Hats off to Mr.Ajeet Gaur. Each and everyone living in India should respect the Indian flag and the constitution. If people say we are not going to salute the flag, we are not going to sing the anthem then they better leave this country. Hope the government stops giving grants to those people/institutions that do not care to respect certain national sentiments. Vote bank politics need to stop and minority appeasement has to end. I hope sri.Modiji would be able to accomplish that.

It is a non-issue. The national flag should be unfurled at all places irrespective of whether it is Govt or private or Educational institute or hospital etc. No agruments about that. The interviewers pointed questions gives the impression that he has great objections to that.
