Those who are returning them should have in the fiorst place should not have accepted. Take Ms Nayatara who was a bitter critic of Mrs Gandhi in 1906s has no qualms to accept the honour. Things are much better now than in those days. If she feels the other way,it is good. They are all basically 'Congress Bhakaths' and can not stomach truth regarding Netaji and the like coming into the open. They supressed truth for full six decades. Truth they say will prevail to the last.Let them think if they still hace any compunction for facts which were bruied and are now slowly coming out. Can any of these so called guys tell me why was Sardar not considered for Bharath Rathna. It is only after the ilk of MGR etc getting it, they honoured that great man who is responsible to integrate 450 princly states and served my Motherland to the last bredth. Let these intellectuals if they have the facts on thier side come for open debate rather returning the awards which in any way are sacrosanct.

Babri demolition hapenned during Congress rule? Why Congress is unable to arrest anyone? Simple, COngress made allegations for politics without any proof.
Of course, Modi is a genuine person who wants to do good things but cant stop his thugs from derailing what good he wants to do.He does not have the guts to control them through his agent Amit Shah.

Where was Anupam Kher when Babri was demolished by so called Karsewaks in 1992? We have never heard any word of protest when thousands of innocents lost their lives in 2002 Gujarath riots?

How did Modi get a majority if we did not give him a chance?
Question is , what is the Govt doing with the full majority we gave them?
Has Anupam asked the Govt why not a single house has been built for refugee pandits in Jammu in the 6 years of Vajpayi and 17 months of Modi? Instead Modi has joined hands with a govt in Kashmir who are against the re-settling of Pandits?
Has Kher ever asked Modi why is he sharing power with a govt in Punjab which is openly asking for pardon of Khalistani prisoners?
Why does Kher not ask Modi how poor will buy Dal at 200/kg and onions @ 70/kg. And this has been going on since 4 months/Is this the quick action and governance we were promised?How is it different from UPA times?
Kher says that Modi is focused on development. Why then the govt has time to pass laws banning cow slaughter but no time to pass banking reform and amendment laws? In Haryana, molestation is punishable with 4 yrs jail, and beef eating with 10 yrs Jail. Is this the govt's good governance we were promised?
Has Kher ever asked Modi why did he not drop a single minister for communal statements? Had one minster been dropped, everybody else would have kept his mouth shut.
Kher comes across as a double Bhakt - Modi bhakt and wife Bhakt? If not, why is he not raising his voice about no action on the re-settlement of Pandits?
The proxy spokes person for his MP wife Kiran Kher should know that no body except destiny can replace Mr Modi as PM for another 4 years,Provided he is not predicting some sabotage plan known to him only.The best way for him is to care for his sagging film carrer.Khamosh!!!
shall we expect some award return in protest or it is just for "hate Modi" agenda? these intellectuals must not forget that they have been awarded for their creative works and not for these pranks.
Yesterday I happen to see a TV debate wherein Scientists cannot properly answer the point to point questions raised.
It appears from the debate that majority of the so called intellectuals/scientists who returned the award have made propaganda against Modi before the Lok Sabha elections in Varanasi, and also are a part of the people who have signed the representation asking US not to give VISA to Modi.
They were unable to clarify the specific reason for intolerance, when countered with the Gulbargi and Dadri incidents are state subjects, and why Mr Modi is being blamed for that.
They had no answer, as to what is the role of Central Govt. in both these cases. I know rediff will be reluctant to post my comments.

This people has no convincing reasons for return of their awards. They are like group of sheepskin blindly following others. Did this hypocrats did not find anything wrong during six decades of congress rule ? Both Nayantara Sehgal and Dr Bhargave got their respective awards in 1986 just two years after 1984 Delhi riots and after 29 years at the age of 87 years both got overnight wisdom that the democracy under Modis govt is in danger and they are very much concerned and worried about it. Even a common people of the country know their plan and motive to tarnish the image of the current govt who was no way connected in awarding them any awards.
mr.anupam before election you were the one to say people are tired with upa and there is modi wave now this is the same public voicing for your betrayal.
