Anupamji, please take some trouble to visit the market and find out for yourself how essential good's prises have skyrocketed, when you will find that with toor dal dal crossing Rs 200 per kg, it is impossible for a common man even to feed simle dal chawal to his family. You useless man, you don't have any quality and qualification to advice experience, mature, successful person like Modi how to run his govt and rule the country.
I would like to convey to these so called intellectuals that common man too has his intelligence intact, though he might not be writing books or making films, and quite a good percentage of these common men are more intelligent that these awardees, if these(awardees) had no solution to offer to the problems of this country, and could do nothing more than just returning the awards, then they probably did not deserve them(awards).

Your views are noble n correct. But you must tell Modiji to talk less. His speaches in Bihar n replies to mahagadbandan netas are very pungent and horrific n intolerant!! Modiji to slow down, let his asst can reply to all n sundry. PM stooping down is sounding crazy though election mode!
People who oppose PM Modi are afraid that if he completes five years in office it will be much more difficult to remove BJP in next election so do not allow him to settle and follow the policy of opposing him blindly.
The people who are returning the awrds are those who accepted them when the whole lot of pandits were driven out of Kashmir, when sickhs were murdered and raped in Delhi, when 60 karsevaks were burnt to death in Godhra , when riot were there in Gujarat , when HUNDUFRONT LEADERS ARE GETTING KILLED IN TAMINLNADU DAYINDAYOUT and when the GOVT kept Silent on 1000s of TAMILS! We're killed in Srilanka and more&more such instance in the country after freedom till date. These are all hypocrates to the core and mere eccentrics calling themselves as rationalists, reformers etc . These things have not impacted the society as they expected since the common man never bothered about these guys who are Drjekil&MrHide. MsSahal has admitted that she returned the award to see that BJP looses election in Bihar, a clear conspiracy of the saddists and fake secularists and MODI haters. The general public is not annoyed about these crankys.
Yesterday I happen to see a TV debate wherein Scientists cannot properly answer the point to point questions raised. It appears from the debate that majority of the so called intellectuals/scientists who returned the award have made propaganda against Modi before the Lok Sabha elections in Varanasi, and also are a part of the people who have signed the representation asking US not to give VISA to Modi. They were unable to clarify the specific reason for intolerance, when countered with the Gulbargi and Dadri incidents are state subjects, and why Mr Modi is being blamed for that. They had no answer, as to what is the role of Central Govt. in both these cases. I know rediff will be reluctant to post my comments.
