Now that you have revealed the truth to our Indian brothers, you will become a target of their hatred and foul mouthed abuses. India was born out of the ideology of lies and hatred. We are only following that ideology and living a lie. Kudos to the writer for showing us how ugly we are as a people and country. With absolutely no courage to face the truth.

The author very cleverly conflates religious tolerance and cultural assimilation. It is true that Hinduism and other dharmic religions (mainly Indian) have a much higer level of tolerance and circumspection than Abrahamic faiths. Venkaiah Naidu here is consistently refering to relgious tolerance and the authors rebuttal is a huge waste of space because it addresses something else.
