There is a supreme court ruling that government bungalows can no more be converted into any museum or tourist centers. Kalam's grandnephew must first learn to respect the law of land. This corrupt practice was developed by Congress to waste tax payers money in the name museums on Gandhi's. Rather build a private tourist center and museum on modern science named after our great Dr. Kalam.

CM of Maharashtra has declared that the Mayor's residence of Mumbai to be converted as Memorial of Balasaheb Thakre.
Let him leave BJP and join congress or RJD or any other party he likes.Enough respect has been given to the Ex-president no more.The relatives should not try to exploit the sentiments of politicians.

It is really sad and bad....totally awkward that our well respected and highly regarded, simple man name is tarnished/ insulted by his nephew.
The government of a party which terminated all maharaja's contracted privy purses at one stroke started celebrating an arbitray number of birth anniversary of Sultan with tax payers money. If they are so concerned should have made one of his descendants living in Kolkatta as a state minister to spread the goodness of the Sultan. Hindustan is not the family property of select modern dynasties.Let other descendants of past dynasties (as that Kattabomman in TN, Tipu in Karnatak, Shivaji and Veeer Savarkar in Maharashtra,Netaji in W Bengal and other) after whom airports, railway stations, roads and institutions are named be given subsistence allowances and family pensions, free air and railway passes. If the elected reps can have these benefits for their noble 5 yrs service why not the descendants of the past rulers who have become freedom fighters fighting against British, Dutch, French and others or given up their kingdoms and deprived of their guaranteed privy purses by free India? Let us find out those descendants of Babur, Qudbuddin Eibek, Tipu, Bijapur Sultans, Nawabs of Hyderabad, Lucknow, Bengal, Kattabomman and Chettinad Kings of TN, Chalukyas of Karnatak, if necessary, thru genetic tests and have many more anniversaries and festivals. We already have enough of them as statues on which birds perch and decorate them with their droppings, which on breaking by anti-socials cause communal riots, remembered only on particular days by leaders for garlanding and photo ops, cause millions of tax payers rupees to maintain them.At least most part of public built historic temples pool public money and use them for public good like health care, education, promotion of culture and art. The government "temples" are a permanent public liability. Remember how the statues of Lenin, Saddam Hussain and other government heroes were pulled down and broken by revolting public. Stop henceforth creation of memorials, statues, museums after individual leaders at government expenses. Let public build and maintain them.
Simple soul lived a simple life without accumulating possessions or caring about self aggrandizement. He never demanded a single thing in his life (other than excellence from his juniors).
Unfortunate that relatives are trying to make demands for bungalows in his name.
this is what want current govt to show world,ha! ha! Ha!wanted to create own branding everycorner.we expect some new in coming days but all are up and down nothing is good.whatever people are talking about the country he is very diffrent man doesnt wanted to understand because luxuary life and go around the world intersting in life nothing else,forgert in mind.
show a single person, who do not respect A.P.J KALAM, why to go into politics, this scientist lies in every one's heart. he should be believed, and if cannot, it is just use less to call ourselves, a person.
The matter is much simple. Sharma is the next Kalam or may be better than him as Badal is the next Mandela and the PM is the next Gandhi. The intention of this Govt. is explicit but then, who cares?

A huge memorial at his birth place is already announced at his Birth place in Rameshwaram. There are lots of tourists there. Those who want to learn about him can take a trip to rameshwaram. This policy of allotting bungalows to the memry of dead should be stopped - otherwise after 15 years no Govt bunlows will be left in Lutyens Delhi for inister to Stay.

Mahesh Sharma and his cabinet is greater than Indira to respect the guidelines of SC that no govt bungalow should be converted to memorials etc. He is not Indira who suspended Indian constitution on the basis of engineered intelligence reports immediately after adverse Allahabad High Court Verdict against her election. No BJP govt declared emergency or trained military guns against Golden temple
