leftists really deserve Siberia since they hate indian culture
by aam admi on Nov 05, 2015 10:48 AM  | Hide replies

Later or sooner they will be there, because they dislike popular support of BJP and always crib RSS and Nationalism and presently making false noises of Intolerance.
They did not participate in Quit India Movement, they always got instructions from foreign lands and acted accordingly, still they love China more than India. Strange thing is that they love to settle in Europe or US instead of going china for settling.
All these leftists leaders are well to do or rich and leading a comfortable life in India.

All that you have written about leftists may be true. But there have been some killings recently, which is what caused the award return. These killings were not done by leftists!

As per author's logic, people should fold their hands, sit quiet and not show their concern whenever things are going wrong in the country. If they do, the ruler of that time will become a dictator and scrrew-up the country. What a logic? This can only come from an illiterate, who is aspiring to be rewarded for constantly churning out this crraaap.

The real issue is not that things are horr1bly wrong in the country. There are two serious issues right now - One, it's clearly evident that ministers and other people holding constitutional positions are deliberately making provocative statements and instigating H1ndu masses against Mus1ims and Chr1stians. This was never seen in the past, at least from people holding constitutional positions.

Two, anyone saying anything against the government is condemmned as an anti-national and asked to go to Pak1stan and what not. The point is that nobody has anything personal against Modi. The real problem is that if something is said against the government or even law and order situation, it is being taken as something against Modi. We are in such a pathetic state of affairs now.

Heed the Official Word Not the Idiots !
by Tarun Bhatnagar on Nov 05, 2015 10:24 AM  | Hide replies

There are Digvijay Singhs in each party and BJP is no different. But it is upto the media and those most influenced by it, if they want to concentrate and crib on what some fanatical idiots and loud mouths say in speeches and responses. Government doesn't become intolerant when anyone says anything. Our Nation can never intolerant but some people will always be. And where is the Govt Policy that smacks intolerance ? So dont be provoked by attention seekers and those whom the media deliberately goes and interviews. The intellectually balanced should know whom to hear and whom to believe.

At least such people should be removed from the Council of Ministers. If possible they should be prosecuted. People who defend a lynch mob should not be ministers!

Demonization
by Thomas Chacko on Nov 05, 2015 10:18 AM  | Hide replies

Rajeev Srinivasan's selective memory serves his purpose well. Does he really think the Sena-BJP government in Maharashtra has not acted in ways that are a repeat of Emergency measures at restricting freedom of speech? What about cartoonist Azeem's case? All governments that seek to perpetuate their hold on power resort to the same measures of containment no matter whether they are of a Nehruvian Stalinist kind or Hitlerian Sangh Parivar kind. By the way, Is Nehruvian Stalinism a creation of your own imagination maddened by the opposition of a few enlightened individuals to your pet party's attempts at obfuscation and manipulation of minds?

better read some thing about Emergency, when supplies of power to all News papers were cut and during one Night most of the opposition leaders were rounded up, Fundamental Rights were suspended.
Further read Russian History to know Communist rising and their brutality, Stalin removed one and all memories of Lenin, and Chased Trotosky , the senior Comrade upto Mexico and killed him there. Millions of opponents were jailed or killed.
The day you will come across with these changes , you would like to change your identity my dear, I am sure.
So far you have not come across with the brutes so you make any comments against RSS or BJP, the real sufferer in the hands of Congress and Communists.

This article suggests that the present administration, if provoked, might impose an Emergency like Indira Gandhi.

Sad but true
by Tarun Bhatnagar on Nov 05, 2015 10:16 AM  | Hide replies

Most of what Modi is doing to change India's image externally and system internally, was never even tried in the past 5 decades. So those who thought they were working with Standard Operating Procedures are now getting disappointed, disgusted and emotionally dehydrated. But in the true sense, they are being disciplined and that's good for India. And what's good for my nation cannot be bad for anyone, even if an individual feels so.
