The main proponents of hatred in India are media houses such as Rediff. They find a religious or regional angle in every untoward incident and milk it for all it is worth. And when proved to be incorrect, they neither have the decency to accept that they faulted or indeed cooked up an angle. Haven't we seen enough 24x7 TV anchors in India run for cover when proved wrong? But then they are shameless, as are many of the e-news groups like this one. If some sense can be driven into their thinking, we may see a better India faster than you can say YES. Sadly, change in thinking comes from within and often cannot be influenced beyond a point. And our media channels are like the proverbial ostrich whose head is firmly deep in the sand and says that all is dark with the world.
