Well this is a good story. It shows that money prevails above all. Instead putting an end to the Rapist's life (which would set a caution to others) we are looking how to end the life of the victim. This is good. I doubt if the same rule would hold good if Aruna would have been more powerful.
I was shocked when i heard about aruana shanbaug. I completely forgot this case, when i was in 10th standard i heard from my father about a lady who was in coma from last 10 yrs. But as a child i am not aware about the coma and the incident happen with her. We all have to strongly oppose the media, people of Maharashtra including me who forgot such a brave lady. Government should do fast tract court for rape victim and every people of india should change his vision towards the girls.
the accused wasn't even charged with rape.. that was the most shocking part he got just 7 years that too served concurrently for assault and murder. I want to know why society doesn't have a right to know such people's face and photo via media.. we don't want to unknowingly mix with such criminals.. tomorrow we may interact with dec 16th juvenile..because no one knows how he looks
