G0d should have been a Lot more Gracious
by RSS on Mar 31, 2015 03:12 AM

If I were G0d - I would have made No Food for 1iving beings to eat, nor would I Authorize them to have Ki11ing powers to Eat their Fellow 1iving beings and make a 1iving out of it.

I would have enabled them without Ki11ing, Hunger, Thirst, Greed, 1ust for Power and women, Education, Politics, Poverty, Diseases. O1d age, War and jobs.

I would have given them Good mora1s and va1ues and Divine know1edge instead of the Ac@demics that we have like a R@t race where we need to struggle day in day out and Reassert ourselves always.

COMMON SENSE AND COMPASSION IN MAJORITY OF US EXPLAINS POOR SHOW
by MMK Rao on Mar 28, 2015 04:26 PM

Predominant proportion of Indians, even appreciably cutting across religious distinctions, hate or eschew beef be it flesh of cow or ox. The reason is just use of common sense (red meat may contribute significantly to incurable diseases - per uninfluenced scientific finding) and humanity (cow and its male partner ox, to keep progeny, is all service to man, which is a rare animal discriminating in what it eats and shuns, and man cannot sensibly preach or profess compassion if he decides to kill it for titillating his palate and for its power to kindle excessive amorous desires in eater). That said, it is not surprising the takers for resistance to beef ban will be far outnumbered by those who still are guided by common sense and true compassion. The internet reaction to the ban is going to be no outweighting factor -- even if a large number of anti-ban enthusiasts make it a point to register protest on it, the others who are pro-ban will not necessarily register their pro-ban votes since they know they have better things to do and the anti-banners are a tiny minority. There are numerous other forms of meat than beef, and they are less disagreeable than beef, and there is no scriptural ban on them in the Hindu world, since large sections, depending on their occupations, may eat them. To the more spiritually inclined, beef is banned in the Hindu scriptures.
