the belligerence that drove out minority pandits? Pretend and insist on secularism while in minority and impose their belief as soon as they get the required numbers.

Precisely .. they want Hindus to continue to be losers ... unfortunately there are also several hindus who call themselves as "secular" and have no guts to oppose when other communities are violent.

Hindus are basically docile & selfish with few exceptions. Secularism is a convenient tool which enables them to avoid confrontation and at the same time occupy moral high ground vis a vis belligerant minorities. Even when they know they are being taken for granted by minorities, they hide behind this 'Secular' front. France is also a secular country but they do not give in to the pressure exerted by their minorities for more concessions.
The situation should be understood under a historical perspective of a period going back at least 1000 years. Anything else would be knee jerk responce
Are you for the majority rule or minority rule or for a healthy federal governance. Whatever are the views of this author, will be applicable to J%K as well as the rest of the country !! Take your pick , Dr Wahid, be clear headed, for once.

K has lesser population and more seats than J !!! funny democracy ..all in the name of 370. Because of 370 no one will start a business in K and hence there will be no job creation and hence K youth will not have jobs and hence 370 !! fantastic logic
