why these trees are calling hindu trees please tell these are the indian trees . do not paint all things with religious name it is very harmful for india , vote banking do not mix all things.

Read the column. He never mentioned any wr hindu tree. The sacred tree in epic. The whole twist & tale is given by media to provoke the people.

It is funny that trees are given a religious identity in our Country. Nothing more unfortunate can happen. Anyhow the choice of trees would be better by including important trees as Neem & Mango also.

The trees that were there from ages are natural to the country.They grow well here.To call them Hindu trees is mischievous and this should never be part of a debate.The writer should grow up.

He, being a horticulturist, must be more concerned about saving the trees and mangroves already in existence than add more trees to be further neglected and badly maintained by the municipal authorities

Fruit bearing trees should also be planted so that at least a lucky few can savour free fruits.
