like to hear from that judge-commission appointed by L Persaud (Then Rail Mantri), who got into the burnt compartment from one door, walked out the other door in less than a minute, and declared that it was not possible to establish the cause of fire.

Mr. jain where was that wide spread condemnation when 3-4 commissions were set up to trap mr. Modi and amit shah? where was your conscience when even supreme court constituted SIT and they gave clean chit to our PM. Some insane people had gone to that extent saying they would leave this country if Narendra modi becomes Pm. Has he left India yet? You the so called self proclaimed champion of secularists write articles when some one from your "beradari" gets entangled in the law net you start shouting from the rooftop saying it is witch hunt! what could be the better example of double standard than this/

Innocence, thy name is Teesta !
by Srinivas on Jul 21, 2015 08:26 PM

Madam Setelvad, obviously you did not expect the BJP to come to power in 2014. Under the protection of the Congress, you vilified Namo, escalated communal tension and indulged in financial improprieties as well. Now the chickens have come home to roost and you have to face the heat.

Srinivasan Jain may be right in stating that the Govt. is indulging in exaggerated action against her (call it witch hunt, if you wish). However, if it gives a strong message to other so called social workers and brings them under control, then such action is most welcome.

Srinivasan Jain, please start a signature campaign to deny visas to all practising Hindus. Only presssstittutes, minorrritiess and sikkkculars have rights under the constitution.

In fact jizziyya should be imposed on practising hindus.

The goon Modi who is masquerading as PM of India is doomed. Teesta Setalvad will emerge victorious and all Modi bhakts who are posting here on RSS behalf are doomed too along with Modi & Shah combine.

Banana republic
by Hirendra Chatterjee on Jul 21, 2015 06:17 PM  | Hide replies

Mr Shrinivasan belongs to the school of journalism which thinks the law is only for the common man. How dare the government take action against Teesta Setalvad, who should have been in jail undergoing rigorous imprisonment for a hundred blatant violations of law much earlier. The fact is that Teesta became a symbol of the vicious anti-Modi campaign launched by pseudo secular parties like the Congress and supported to the hilt by the English media which now thinks it is its duty to protect Setalvad, if necessary even against murder. The anti-Modi campaign failed miserably, as after crores of rupees changing hands under the table and 10 years of persecution could not make a single charge against Modi stick. Commission after commission and finally even the Supreme Court had to give him a clean chit. On the reverse side, Teesta was caught red-handed violating the law blatantly. But stubborn supporters like Srinivasan Jain insist on seeing nothing and hearing nothing. They will keep up the chant till doomsday. I don't think he and is kind will be able to save Teesta from going to jail.

Srinivasan Jain should wait for the result of enquiry. H should not draw conclusion of his own, when his work honestly done is to report facts as a journalist. He has no business to say whether CBI enquiry is warranted or not in a particular case. Who is he to decide and misinform the readers?
