Regarding the assasination of Mahatma Gandhi, it was hard to believe that why Gandhi was targeted and Killed.
The assasination has several unanswered questions. Why at that time why there was no proper investigations? who gave the sophisticated weapon to kill Gandhiji? Are they any persons behind His killing? How can one Hindu kill another Hindu person? It was said that Gandhiji advocated secularism because of which he was killed. This is not true. India was naturally secular since ages and this concept has nothing to do with Gandhi's assasination. He did not advocate separate state like the British divide and rule policy and this is not correct? Why was the assasinator hanged even before proper investigation is completed?
There are several such unanswered questions even to this day? Look at the Mysterious death of Subhash Chandra Bose. Mysterious death of LalBahadur Shastry and others. What happened to all of them? All these are mysteries in Indian History.

The author t his convenience separates Bapu from Congress and Congress from Government to make up this story. It puzzles me: 1. how the same govt. which was snooping on netaji's family did not put a watch on Nathuram, who the author says had attempted this murder earlier. 2. Plain clothed security could otherwise also be placed. Dont say we did not have intelligence agencies and military doctors who could have prevented this. 3. Who then allowed the instalment paid to Pakistan. The author just mentions 'Government decided' and manoeuvres away. Logically, it could not have been done without Bapu's knowledge and/or may have been done by Government to appease the Bapu. Putting Mounbatten's name is fancy. 4. Godse not attending discussion with Bapu is logical. You don't like to to get into discussion if only you are on one side and rest all on the other. Our democracy has been hijacked by leaders so many times and the institution does not allow truth to surface. How to debate about netaji files, Quattrochi, Vyapam, etc. Not justified, but self styled patriotism will surface time and again. Not even the Hindu hardliners have insulted the Bapu greatness and his title - the Mahatma.
