Another useless thing
by Sameek Ghosh on Jan 05, 2015 01:01 PM

From the pictures it is seen that those toilets are Western Commode, while villages and Indians are ease with the Indian way (squatting). This will be rendered useless soon as everybody will try to climb and squat on the commode :)

Model Public Convenience
by gopalakrishnan caruthedath on Jan 05, 2015 11:42 AM

The ingenuity of Mr. Suresh Menon in developing a workable public convenience using a 20 ft. Container is worthy of emulation and adoption all over Indian villages so that the deprived womenfolk can have a dignified and safe use of public convenience without the presence of the prying eyes of sex maniacs. If the fabrication is done on a commercial scale, they can become cheaper. We hope those in power are watching this.
