He didn't run away!

These very foolish voters who voted the most corrupt party for 60 years since independence on the basis of false promises and who now voted the anti national agenda party for the sake of bribe of freebies like free water and free electricity are talking about supposedly unfulfilled promises made by the Honorable PM. These very corruption tolerant people are not ready to allow even 60 months to the new government to do some good work. This shows the double standards and hidden agenda of these people or their leaders.

AAP victory = hopes and aspirations of the poorest among poor
by Adishankar Sundararaman on Feb 11, 2015 09:09 PM  | Hide replies

This is what was wished all along. Now let AAP be the check for BJP and BJP be the check for AAP. Win win situation for the people. Very happy that AAP has got a second chance. Not many get, that too in this manner. There is a hidden but strong and angry message from the people for both BJP in their loss and AAP in this victory. Sincerely hope that AAP does not lose direction this time. The useless media has once again started dangling the carrot of other states and going national in front of AAP. This is what undid AAP last time. Governing Delhi and delivering the promises in the present situation against all adversities is going to be most difficult. Today people are not only angry, but also impatient. If AAP does not show undivided focus and the intent to change Delhi as promised, the impact of this victory will be swept away as soon as it came. If they stay focused on Delhi and deliver even decently in 5 years, the nation can be won without campaigning. Will feel sad for AK and AAP and for the new story of hope for India, if AAP does not perform this time. They are in the same situation that BJP was in less than a year, and they too cannot offer excuses. AK, don't go to Bihar, don't go to WB, don't go to UP, deliver in Delhi. All the above states will come begging to you automatically.

you echo my words. this is not a loss for Modi. Just a warning that the leaders has to understand that they have to work for aam people and fulfill their promises. it is good to hv someone coming alongwith BJP in front. May be even congress need to stand up by reviving its policies and bring some good faces in front. This is democarcy and we need good healthy competition.

All the best to AK but then he has to deliver else will be kicked out for ever.. Voters are really becoming smart and this is great for India

Its a natural balance - But need to be sustained

I would request all of us to take a step back and analyse the whole incident a little logically. The prominence of BJP was to get rid of a weak congress and corrupt regional parties ruled by families. It was needed. Similarly it is also needed to have a check and balance to remind BJP that nothing is permanent without performance. To be fair, we need to give more time to BJP and mr modi as the problems are much larger. Be it security, finace, poverty , education etc etc. they have been doing good work in foreign affairs, making investment friendly environment. But the expectations are much higher. The problem for AAP is much more serious. It is clear that they have connected with non BJP population very well. But they have little experience in running a corruption free government that too in Delhi where connection and corruption is ramphant. So let us hope that AAP performs and performs well. A good performance by AAP will establish the fact that clean government is possible, educated people can be in politics and there is ray of hope. Have seen the west Bengal gov which came with such hope. Look where they are today. Let us wish Kejriwal and team all the very best for a fantastic 5 year at Delhi.

Sir,
AAP supremo is a bureaucrat and IRS officer as I have seen as a Govt. employee can not do good for Amm Adami. An IRS officer can raise objection for all good doing without any development and so will be with APP. Blind faith is not good thing. I could not understand why center govt. should cooperate when they have not made tall promises. It is Mr.bureaucrat who had made promises and he should generate resources himself for welfare scheme and not beg like beggar. Other states are generating their own resources themselves and not looking towards centre Govt. AAP should not blame BJP for every thing.

Hari, your observation is right. But for the sake of delhi people, let us hope that we are wrong on the trait of gov official. On promises, the central govt should perform in a fair manner in allocating fund. They are responsible for the whole country and all should be equally treated. How with that fund Mr. Kejriwal takes care of the promises made by HIM, is upto him. He is an honest man, and can always go back to his own people and admit that with available fund he can do only this much. If he is honest and truthful I am sure people will believe him. he should start a blame game.. I want fund, but center is not providing.. that is wrong.

Just like Mr. Kejriwal is waiting for Central Government to give full Statehood to Delhi, so that he can start his corruption free good governance in Delhi.

Similarly Mr. Modi might be waiting for rest of the World to make India permanent member of U.N. Security Council, only after that he might think about doing some good governance at home.
