Modi has forgotten promises
by Bodh Ramdeo on Feb 12, 2015 07:42 PM

Sure-fire vote-getter....promise every manner of freebies and handouts under the sun without the foggyist idea how to pay for them, like the Chavez-Maduro govt in Venezuela which has ran a thriving economy into the mud with its populist shenanigans.
There's a reason why China is so far ahead...because it national policy is not held hostage to the selfish whims of the illiterate idiot-masses.

While commenting on any one it is always wise represent himself as one on whom one comments then any one understands the reality. With a motive and without any understanding of the situation commenting regarding the dress code of a PM of India is shameful act.

Dear Sir, can you tell the source of this cost information and the authenticity of the source. It is just like the statement purported to have been made by Modi during the Kedarnath disaster. Finally, it was proved to be a fertile imagination of a journalist. The same will happen here

Promises
by arungopal agarwal on Feb 12, 2015 11:27 AM  | Hide replies

Has anyone kept any promise so far, can anyone name it, if promises are impractical to be achieved. However intentions and work for people speak itself. Modi is doing a good job comparing to congress - may not be upto the mark of aspirations. Let aspirations remain else life will become bore.
New thrill has come by way of Kejriwal in Delhi, let us see what new initiatives he takes to improve working of govt. deptts. basically all problems are from Govt. only, else people are living without Govt. too.

Arun, do you have anything to say ont he following...
1> 10 Lakh suit (costlier than 10 years of salary for people who voted Modi to power), woven in UK while advocating Make in India (Hypocrisy?). Instead of remembering his humble beginning and helping the poor as expected by the electorate, Modi turned out to be a self aggrandising insecure megalomaniac.
2> Chunaavi Jumle, as referred by Amit Shah for the poll promises made by BJP during lok sabha elections.
3> USD 100 drop in crude oil prices translate to a saving of Rs 2480 Crores per day. India imports 4 Mn barrels daily. Where are these profits going?

1. Suit was gifted not purchased and petty matter.
2. Chunaavi Jumle used by everyone-only press and people like you take joke of it.
3. Luck of Modi-if deficit is reduced what is wrong, major portion is passed on to people also.
Appears you have mind set of anti Modi whereas our mind set is for the country as well as with duly elected Govt. it may be AAP or BJP or course not corrupt Govt. like NDA. People have given Modi full powers similarly Delhi has given full powers to Kejri-let us all support them so as to get best out of them.

1> Why is there no clarity from BJP or the Govt if the suit was gifted? - You are trying to explain your own mind that what you believed in is true. Take reality as it is unfolding with a pinch of salt and move on. No need to get stuck to one mistake. The cost of the suit was out through an RTI query. You may think it is a petty matter, the public does not think like that.
2> Amit Shah responded on a TV interview, that depositing 15lakhs in each account was a chunaavi jumla to get votes. It amounts to cheating with innocent public.
3> Major portion passed to public. If the savings are passed to public, petrol would cost 28 Rs/Liter.

Appears you have a mindset of pro hypocrisy and do not want to open your eyes as you know you will get scared.

Gifts received from non relatives in excess of Rs. 50000/- are taxable, whether in cash or kind. Did Modi ji paid any Income Tax on such high value gifts ?

You are somauch worried about a gift gifted to PM of India.Where were you when thousands of crores were filtered through 2G 3G Coal Deffence Kalmadi scans? You are so much worried about this suit?and not worried about dwindling money. In Bangalore Corporation 39 crores of rupees were taken away in the day light by showing wrong full bills. Are you not worried about it.You are so much disturbed over a gift to PM which is also in line with many in the past.

Dear MS, if the government starts answering all these silly questions, it will do only this and no other work. There are enough people in this country who will start asking silly questions. The 15 lakh speech was a metaphor and I hope you understand the meaning of the word! On the oil prices, when the crude price was above USD 100, the government was forced to subsidise, and when the prices fall, the government should be able to recover some of it. In fact if you see, the benefit has been equally shared between the government and the public.

Shri Modijee was not voted for 15 lakhs but voted for developmet. Please wait. The wheel of development being started.Atleast you agree in last 8 months no scams. The corrupt cogress is dis appearing.Poor class should not be mis guided. The suit is a clothe and it is not laxury.Going to UK /US with thousands of $'s and fooling the poor class through some wrongful action pains the poor .One thing I agree is 15 lakhs calculation no body knows.so What Mr Amith Shaw can tell?

Good time for businessman & intellectuals
by Shiva prasad on Feb 12, 2015 05:53 AM

Now all moneyed businessman, so called intellectuals who are aspiring to become politicians will join AAP. Its easy way of gaining power in short time by fooling people. It has happened earlier also eg. Capt. Gopinath etc etc...Its unfortunate part of Democracy. There is a strong leadership emerging in India in the form of Modiji instead of supporting him, people got fooled by freebies..

Suit cost was 20,000.
It was a gift to Modi.
Like Kejriwal travelled in Business class and told that it was gift.
Any Comment??
