Before 1994, in Gujarat, Patels opposed Congress, then all other caste people voted for Congress and Cong used to win. in 2007 & 2012 Keshubhai patel asked Patels to oppose Modi. Then also all other caste people voted for Modi and he won again.

now its shows Keshubhai Patel is no where in this fighting it is between Modi and Anandi Ben. Now we want to know how Amit Shah will solve this problems.
Instead of OBC it should be EBC = Economy Backward Class, this should be given to to only BPL families and than only we all can can come out of caste system and than only actually needed families will be benefited by this EBC...!

I am amazed at the irony in our country. Perhaps we are the only country in the whole world where people want to be counted as backward class for getting benefits. These people are only adding up to the already huge population of mediocre people. the only solution is to abolish caste system where in no one should ask any one's caste or note it down any where and abolish reservations every where. Merit should be the only criteria in every field.

The greater irony is - people want to be treated as "backward" by government - but in personal life, they want their caste to be treated as the noblest and highest caste !!! So every one wants to be "Most backward caste", but not lowly caste - noblest and highest caste in social hierarchy at the same time ... the enlightened members of these castes should tell the others to keep off this kind of agitations ....

The backward status should be granted only if they surrender their land bank,give up businesses they run & also return all the money taken as compensation for land acquired by govt running in crores
New avenues of making money to SC/ST: Please adopt parents of the children seeking admission to courses like MBBS etc.by charging fees. With this adoption, parents of children will be SC and their children will be by birth SC and claim benefits.
