Please organise anti-tobacco seminars and explain the effect of tobacco and show them how people suffer from cancer with pictures. It will not stp all, but will definitely have some effect. I do it regularly.
In a way, the damage has been done, no matter what the final size of the pictorial warning. These addicts have said exactly what the nicotine addict wants to hear; that there is a slight doubt somewhere that tobacco products are harmful.
This is all they need to keep smoking this week, and the memory of this manufactured controversy will make them keep doing it. And this is an addictive product; use it long enough, and the body will need it, more than any rational argument.
These people should be rewarded, maybe with pintripe suits with Mr. Gupta's trademark. At least then, their loyalties will be clear, for others to see.

BJP and its leaders have got a lots of agendas to put the country and its people in to the dangerous pit, and it is also one among them. As long as the blind followers are there to support with their filthy opinion, they will succeed. Only we have to wish them all the best
Let this MP give only a week duties to just observe Cancer patients at Tata Cancer hospital in Mumbai and see their plights and suffering. He will never suggest anything about advantage of smoking cigarettes and will become brand ambassador of Stop Smoking Campain.

No chance.. He must be a brand ambassador for some tobacco product! When u get hefty donations that win elections for you, you are bonded to pay it back!!
It is the personal view of the BJP leader, cannot be construed as party opinion, there are many in the party who are not adhere to the discipline and in no way we can expect such things from them.

Mr Sameer, it is the party that put him on Parliamentary Panel on Subordinate Legislation. So his viewpoint does matter; it cannot be against the interest of common-man's health and basic understanding of the proven correlation of smoking to cancer. it is the content of such opinion which is to be corrected irrespective of the fact whether it comes from NDA or UPA.
If your version is acceptable then why your government levied Excise Duty on Cigarettes in the Budget? Why the Government kept the statutory warning on every Cigarette package?
