....
Modi has the capability to be a world leader.

If he wins the hearts of Americans, believe me, Obama and entire US is going to be in Modi's pocket. Because Americans simply love people with a vision and strong speech.

It is a good thing that Modi is working for India. If he does not eat anything as per his practice during Navarathra, it is laudable that he maintains his culture even in the company of such world leaders. While many of our political personalities go abroad for merry making, he is truly an exception. With his speeches if he can impress upon them and succeed in his mission, nothing like that. Hats off to Mr. Modi. Happy journey and wish you all the best. You are doing your best. Leave the result to the almighty.

USA invites Modi to their trap
by lahiri alokesh on Sep 22, 2014 04:30 PM  | Hide replies

The sudden invitation of Mr Obama - the U turn on visa issue - the Gala welcome!!!!! The spider tells the moth- Come to my trap. The USA has laid a well conceived trap to get maximum benefit.Trust me, there will be nothing related to mutual benefit. It is for India to give concessions in defense procurement, easing of liability in Nuclear deal, softening of food subsidy in WTO and letting the USA multinational pharmaceutical companies unbriddled patent rights.Well- if Mr Modi do not agree........you know the consequences.

USA is a superpower and India is one of the impoverished nations. Can anyone imagine that India will have any bargaining power!!! India should have avoided this meeting. As the equation in Asia Pacific region changes, India should have opted for an opprtune moment for some bargains.

Good one Surendra Nath. Those who have decided not to see any good will always keep barking. They can't see the investment from Japan and China. About half a trillion dollar deals (yes, half a trillion usd) are expected to be signed in us of a. But again you expect the likes of Raje to even understand anything beyond drums and dhoklas.
