diesel/petrol price

Really,when i brought petrol car and my friends got diesel cars ,i thought that i did a blunder. Now i find that petrol cars are good as compare to diesel as petrol price is comparable and secondly condition of car is better compare to other one

No dual policy.
Levy heavy/extra tax on luxury cars, use it for betterment of public transport.

farming's share of diesel is close to 10%.. it should be possible to make direct payment

the worst thing about diesel subsidy is, we are subsidizing pollution... indian diesel has very high particulate content and is carcinogenic.. the right thing to do is to increase taxes on diesel and shift towards cleaner diesel

Can be implemented - Same way as Govt is selling kerosene. Colour subsidised diesel

why, simple you drive in a SUV to fill diesel, pay @66/-plus and only direct refilling allowed, no jarricane/canister filling. A truck drives in, pays @40/-. Accounting by the pump is child's play.

Introduce a new tax to be paid during insurance renewal for all vehicle except tractors, lorries, buses, goods carrying vehicles) collect 5% of the vehicle insurance cost as tax and pay that amount to oil marketing companies.

directly pay farmers the difference of cost and rate be as per open pricing

nobody discuss the tax percentage, we don't want any subsidy, but tax percentage to be at par with other oils,goods etc,tax on petrol/diesel is more than 66% and for other goods it is only 5 to 12%.
