KASHMIR FLOODS.
by pasupathi subbian on Sep 12, 2014 11:07 AM

TILL THE TIME THE K PEOPLE WERE NOT WORRIED ABOUT THEIR FUTHURE. THE THOUGHT THAT ONLY THE SEPARATIST WILL GUARD THEM . NOW THEY WILL COME TO KNOW THE TRUE COLOUR OF THESE PEOPLE WHO WERE ACTING LIKE GODFATHERS. WITHOUT THE AID OF THE INDIAN ARMY THE THINGS WOULD HAVE GONE WORSE. LET THE NATURE GIVE THEM A LESON

Many look for Big monies - Beware
by on Sep 12, 2014 09:41 AM

Beware. There will be hundreds of NGOs who collect money in the name of Kashmir. Donate only to News Channels directly or CM/PM relief fund directly. I am from Hyderabad. I think it is for the cause of super cyclone or some such thing some 6/7 years back(Iam unable recall)a federation of apartments associations in Hyderabd collected from all its apartments residents welfare societies money to the tune of about 5 Laks and till today no one knows who ate up all the money and where is that management committe member of that Federartion (Huda aapartments welfare association - Kothapet, Hyderabad). Can there be any bigger sin than this?

K-LEADERS/SEPARATISTS/POL. ELITE MUST NOT FLY OUT OF J&K-2
by damodaran mohan on Sep 11, 2014 04:53 PM

(contd.)However that doesn’t mean the K-leadership abandon their people and escape to safety out of K leaving everything to the army &co.Only the CM Omar Abdullah is to be found in K and virtually the entire rest of the political elite are missing from rescue action ! Shouldn’t likes of Farooq Abdullah, Begum Mehbooba Mufti & her half a dozen siblings, dad Mufti, the separatists leaders likes of Gilani,Yasin Malik,Shabbir Shah..…be actively involved in rescue operations ? But none are to be found! Where are they ? And that Sumo wrestler like figure ‘Rana’ of the recent j&K- assembly resolution fame on LOC firing , where is he ? It was shocking to find likes of Salman Soz, Karan Singh, Wahibullah…. in Delhi yesterday in Delhi on TV debate ? Shouldn’t all these K--leaders be in Kashmir assisting army in helping rescue operations ? It must be ensured that the K-leaders, separatis and the political elite in general are not allowed to fly out of Kashmir and escape while common people are suffering there

K-LEADERS/SEPARATISTS/POL. ELITE MUST NOT FLY OUT OF J&K-I
by damodaran mohan on Sep 11, 2014 04:50 PM

Easily it must be the most and not one of the most devastating floods J&K ever faced. The scale and magnitude of devastations appears to be of catastrophic dimensions one can't even fathom. Virtually the entire K-valley appears to be under sheet of water with jammu too affected very badly. The real challenge is going to start after complete receding of water with total chaos all around. It is evident the town of K-valley will have to be rebuilt all over again in the long term while people in the valley will have to be fed free for at least six months ration from the centre. Given this reality of tragedy it is not the time for blame game and recriminations and the brave Indian army has to do its duty towards humanity of rescue operations w/o worrying about winning hearts of K-people. This is also not time for blame game and not fair to castigate the authorities of local govt. who themselves must be in need of serious assistance. The whole country must stand behind people of j&K and it is only our brave Army and jawans of other para-military troops who alone are capable of meeting the current challenges of rescue operations.

Though the Armed Forces will go out of their way to help the people of the valley, they should not expect any appreciation from the people of the valley rather be prepared for brickbats after the a
relief operation is over and normalcy is restored, there will be numerous reports/acquisitions of rape, molestation and looting in order to blackmail.
