In a nation why govt makes helmet compulsory when many people die by falling from mumbai local. Why no discipline? Helmet restricts vision in city environment plus creates false sense of security. Many a times with helmet also people have died. Government cannot make auto rikshaw run on meters in all cities. Govt cannot give transport to all locations. Govt cannot ensure trouble free journey. Why helmet is only enforced strictly? Many a times drivers drive on wrong side, break signals. Tata Magic like vehicles run on white number plate and carry passengers illegally. Bolero jeep is illegally carrying 15-20 passengers all over india. Why this cannot be stopped? Why only helmet is enforced? In railway trains, ordinary ticket holders sit in reservation compartments and nobody takes objection. On signals and railway platforms many beggers with diseases roam freely , why they are not shot down to save others? In railway train toilets people smoke freely why they are not punished? Why no one trusts railway police force? All time hawkers roam freely on railway trains and railway overbridges whereas common man is harassed. In general life when someone has to register FIR then why no centralized system and call center for the same? Why go to THIS POLICE STATION AND THAT POLICE STATION BECAUSE boundary limits exist? So if I hit 1 policeman outside his boundary limits he cannot arrest me? DEAR GOVT CHANGE PATHETIC LAWS FIRST , EVERYONE WILL WEAR HELMET IN YOUR RESPECT.

Mr nitin gadkari drove scooter without helmet. He shouod not have done it as the same has turned against him by media. Everybody knows his intenstiona are clear and he desires to reform our motor vehicle act soon.
So media should also be little patient before making hue and cry
Sh Gadkari has shown good intentions but not advised properly by his security team to wear a helmet also. it would be best if he submits himself to law and undergoes the punishment. And let us not make this issue into a national calamity. we have a spirited minister full of bounce and we must rejoice in that also.
