What is the clue?
by Dipak Bose on Oct 11, 2014 04:22 AM  | Hide replies

How can he take care of 72,000 rescued children? How much does it cost per day?
It is like Lallu Yadav`s 85,000 cows.

Is he a OBC or Dalit Christian? What is the clue?

Because you dont know how to take out 72,000 children from misery and that he knew how to do it. That makes the difference between you and him.

Kailash Satyarthi - an indian with max.awards
by Ajai Jacob on Oct 10, 2014 10:28 PM  | Hide replies

...and most Indians were not even aware about him!!

From wikipedia :
Kailash Satyarthi:
2014: Nobel Peace Prize
2009: Defenders of Democracy Award (US)
2008: Alfonso Comin International Award (Spain)
2007: Medal of the Italian Senate (2007)
2007: recognized in the list of "Heroes Acting to End Modern Day Slavery" by the US State Department
2006: Freedom Award (US)
2002: Wallenberg Medal, awarded by the University of Michigan
1999: Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Award (Germany)
1998: Golden Flag Award (Netherlands)
1995: Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award (US)
1995: The Trumpeter Award (US)
1994: The Aachener International Peace Award (Germany)
1993: Elected Ashoka Fellow (US)

There is no other Indian who has won so many awards. And most Indians don't even know who he is !!!Many thanks to our 'great' media who is interested in writing only about masala bollywood and lazy cricket(played by 10 countries).

The root cause of child labor is bulging population. India is the country with the largest population in the world(per sq.km).

Kailas Satyarthi is the first Indian to get a nobel after Mother Teresa. The next Indian to get a nobel(after 50 years?) could be a person who has done something to reduce the uncontrollable population of India.

Hats off to Kailash Satyarthi. We appreciate the great work you do.
We need economic progress. We need someone to be inspired from his dedication and sacrifice. Root cause of child labor is poverty and backwardness. We need champions like him who will work toward educational opportunities for everyone.
Root cause of child labor is poverty. We need to eliminate that. Hopefully PM Modi will work toward that.

Colonials reward the slave
by Pen diamond on Oct 10, 2014 09:39 PM  | Hide replies

I loved the post by a gentle men named hogajoga who claimed that such problem was primarily created by the colonial people who brought in industrialisation and cleared the natural ways of living and living close to nature, made people depended on the system and created a massive problem only to reward people for solving the symptoms of their idiotic behavior.
Excellent post

correct. correct. Rishis did not expect award and neither were they given award for their good work. Guru dakshina was just a small tokeN of appreciation. RISHIS did not want tribals to loose their tribal way of life.

Though Hogajoga's post is very unstructured, this gives us a very deep insight into the problem that they created and then reward the solution provider.
Very good insight Hats off, I am going to cut copy past and send to my friends

I am highly inspired by the yoman's work being carried on by Kailash Stayarthiji. He is role model and in honouring such a deidcated soial activist, the Nobel Committee has shown that it is alive to such causes
Heartiest Congratulations to Satyarthi ji
I wish the Government oF india had honoured him by giving him Pdma Award earlier
Honouring him afterward only confirms the often said fact that we Indians care much less our talent and we start honouring our heroes only after threy are honoured abroad
Many Mnay congratulations to Satyarthi ji

What century are u living in? No wonder the world thinks india is a land of snake charmers. How different are you from the mullahs of taliban who want to bring caliphate.Dancing around buffaloes for heavens sake. What the colonialists have done has already happened. No use crying over split milk. This is actually with indians is that they havent got over the colonial past. britain has made india poor. but that happened all over the world, africa all around. thats industrialization. today we take their IT jobs, call centre jobs , research jobs and buying their companies like Jaguar land rover. its just karma going round.
