WHO IS KAILASH SATYARTHI
by anil malhotra on Oct 11, 2014 01:23 PM

Heartiest Congratulations for the Noble Cause you have undertaken and also rightly recognised.
Sir,I have a different view,"Are the parents who line up children in their family sometime simply to get a male child and others with a thinking that in a child they will get an earning hand not responsible for taking due care of their children at least by not producing CHILDREN which they cannot take care of.Let there be one or two child norm so that all children develop as good citizens.May be my view look radical, but it will definitely mean better Children in the Society.Perhaps you may agree with me that these days Criminals are taking Advantage of the age of the Children and exploiting them to carry out heinous crimes.

Congratulations Sir.

Has the Government of India recognised his contributions and given him any Padma awards till date? I doubt very much because in our country such honours are reserved for discredited politicians, sports personalities, film stars and industrialists. What a shame!

Him getting many western awards is a good enough reason for not getting Padma awards, given that the West was always with Pakistan than India. So, most of the Indian population are yet to know about Sathyarthi but if he has done a good work his work will reach to people. Otherwise, with or without nobel prize it will not reach.

ats off to Kailash Satyarthi. We appreciate the great work you do.
We need economic progress. We need someone to be inspired from his dedication and sacrifice. Root cause of child labor is poverty and backwardness. We need champions like him who will work toward educational opportunities for everyone.
Root cause of child labor is poverty. We need to eliminate that. Hopefully our PM Modiji will work toward that.

Hypocrite! Have you even heard of his name before the Nobel announcement? And see now how shamelessly you link up his name to that of Modiji!

Congratulation to Satyarthi
by Dilip Kumar Mukherjee on Oct 11, 2014 09:10 AM

I am feeling very proud to congratulate Mr Satyarthi for reasons as under:
1)He is an Indian
2)By training he is an Electrical Engr
As I am a retired Prof of Electrical Engg. from IITRoorkee,it will be a matter of great pleasure for me if Mr Satyarthi decides to start a ITI for very special training in Electrical Engg. at the lowest level for deprived children, some of whom can become an eminent Electrical Engr. after passing through Mr Satyarthi's training Institute.
