My sincere salute to the real Heroes of NSG and police personnel who sacrified their lives to save our fellow countrymen. At the same time I feel really ashamed when I see that these Heroes guard the most corrupt politicians of our country who only loot the country.
But are they remembered, honored, we have corrupt netas statue and their jayantis been celebrated, millions getting wasted, what about those who lay their lives for the countrymen???
My heart felt condolences to the bereaved family of Major Unnikrishnan.I am unable to find words to describe the SACRIFICE OF MAJOR UNNIKRISHNAN of NSG.His life has not gone waste. He will be a source of inspiration and a role model for the younger generations.I SALUTE the officer and also his family. BRAVERY HAS NO "RELIGION , NATIONALITY"
Our NSG and Security Forces were fighting Pakistani Terrorists risking their own lives and two great soldiers laid down their life protecting the people. What did the Electronic media did? They all put up an outdoor camera van outside the terror target and carried 24X7 Live Telecast of the Rescue Operation. Terrorists inside the Buildings under seige and their pakistani handlers got to watch every movement of our NSG,Navy Commandoes and Police Force and they re-stratezised their action plan ! Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan and Hawaldar Bisht lost their life because of our irresponsible Media. It is hard to understand how our NSG permitted Media presence at the war zone. I still remember, T V reporters interfered in rescue operation of Fire Brigade to get a sound bite from fire officers who were more than willing to oblige them. Unfortunately, even after 6 years, our Media does not seem to have learnt a lesson. They still follow the same path.Remember, recently a leading T V Chanel carried a story on Defence ill-Preparedness of our Navy and Army ??

WE NEED TO SALUTE OUR BRAVE SOLDIERS AND KICK ON THE REAR FOR OUR CORRUPT POLITICIANS WHO MAKE MONEY ILLEGALLY BY BUILDING DAMS IN THE AIR, NO DAM, NO WATER, ONLY EMPTY PTOMISES.

Frankly it is not exactly the fault of the media. Our security system should not have allowed the media near or to telecast live. Nobody stopped them and unfortunately it was just a part of the total failure of our security system.
I can't believe when 5-6 people attacked Mumbai with guns, all we could do was to wait for NSG to arrive from Delhi. Any city with some assets would have a police team to do the same! We spend billions to buy all sort of war planes, aircraft carrier but didn't have few men with guns to protect our commercial capital and nobody to organize the security affairs.
This was a terrible exposure of our security system and media should eb the last one to be blamed.

You are very right. Indian media is concerned with its TRP rating only and least concerned about security of the country and nation.Media and Politician are the worst ENEMY of INDIA.
The real hero was tukaram omble who captured ajmal kasab with a stick in hand and gave his life, without him pakistan could never been exposed. But rediff as usual went on to give importance to a fellow keralite but systematically forgot omble & others who laid their lives. Atleast unnikrishnan was carrying gun in his hand others were without any weapon.

We are talking about a young man who gave his life to the country - you and me included - and you are just interested in regional politics. Shame on you.
