It sums up-like Nixon's visit to China in 1972
by Jagdish Dubey on Nov 22, 2014 06:24 PM

That visit was a land mark that changed Mao's basket case China into PRC notching unprecedented double digit growth for three decades! India missed the bus then due to muddled thinking and corruption. Like PRC did under Deng in 1972, India can do much better under Modi. It is going to be the real game changer.

Obama visit
by parameswaran K on Nov 22, 2014 05:29 PM  | Hide replies

Congress may howl from roof top on the issue, but the fact is that Modi is achieving all those things which Congies could not during their more than 50 years of misrule. Congress mukt Bharat seems to become a reality with the party losing both J&K and Jharkhand to BJP in the forthcoming elections. Modi's name is muttered even by a nursery going child today whereas Maun Mohan Singh or for that matter any Ronci PM of the past, was never this popular amongst all sections of the society.

I feel sorry for you. One recession in 2008-09 and Dubai started crying. Your knowledge about India's growth is very limited.

1. Jan Dhan - More than 75 million bank accounts to poor people - What would they do with empty accounts?
2. Swatchch Bharat plan - Can Chenage India to better in health, food, education with clean toilets in schools, clean surroundings etc - I don't see any change in my surroundings. It needs money (not camera) to get Municipalities new vehicles to carry the garbage
3.More than 50Billion dollars in investment promises from Japan, China, USA. - Same as Gujarat got promise for 200 billion investment in last 3-4 years but actual is not more than 5 Billion
4.Work started in scaring the holders of money abroad. - Yes agree, supreme court is doing some work
5. Make in India mission - Make what? fools

Great Move by a visionary leader
by sampath shrinivasan on Nov 22, 2014 04:05 PM

Modi had raised any expectations on the domestic front and it is still work in progress. But it is in foreign policy and engagements that he has blown our minds. He has made all of us believe in India's strength and greatness and the world is also looking at India with renewed interest and respect. Amazing Sir!!

the idea
by indiamachinetools on Nov 22, 2014 03:16 PM

The idea of PM Modi inviting is simple. that's a good start.

Obama is seen as a great world leader, tho his leadership has been questioned because of the Republican majority in Congress. Clearly Obama is on his wane as President. Look at the pictures of Obama with PM Modi. PM Modi is on higher platform as an acheiver. Time will prove right and for people against PM modi, they are in their own coffins. Indians see it, those who want to see it, except some media pundits who refuse to see it and are serving missionaries and Congress party. People in other countires watching G-20 re knowing India's greatness and soon will.

America is 17 trillion in debt and is beggar apeparing rich.

Why worship them.. use Obama's name and promote India. good commonsense.

Congress or others only interested in personal glory so they could have done good things for India.
