ok so nehru lived in this palace while poor indians starved on the streets and other freedom fighters got killed in freedom movement. also his birthday should be changed to women's day instead of children's day coz he certainly had more love for women than children.

Most of time, Jawaharlal Nehru was workign for the Congress party in some town or he was in prison. In his younger days, he went to Britain for education and remained in small rooms or dormitories. So he never really got to enjoy the luxury of his ancestral house.
