BJP (Bhrashtrachari Janta Party) is a minor Govt. and illegal. Voice vote and they did not want NCP to take the credit hence this strategy. IS THIS GUJARAT MODEL? THIS IS GUJARAT MODEL and Shameful ... This will be sung till Fadnivis agrees ... and got fresh voting. I am fan of BJP BUT what is the thought of RSS Pracharaks. Rao is not fit to be a Governer but a RSS pracharak and hence post is given to him ... He talks of Constitution to NDTV. Has he taken the letter of support??? He has to answer or be asked to resign??? Does the speaker know how to conduct the business in the house? Shameless and Disgraceful. MODI and Shah Gujubhai’s will realize Afzalbhais will not be tolerated in Maharashtra
i have voted bjp but will never vote them here on wards.shivsena will be more active here onwards.unlike people who think BJP can do good will complain that they have done nothing and cheated people.

Please Vote to the Sickularist Groups[Cong/BSP/SP/CPI/CP/Naxals/ and other fringe parties]. Also be aware of Modi-tsunami. If By chance you are bewildered what to do, then off course pray to Matadi[Mamata-Haridi]
Shiv Sena is a party to safeguard the interests of the Marathies unlike the BJP which is like Congress and NCP.Though that I am from Tamilnadu,I respect the Shiv Sena for their feelings for Maratties unlike others in Maharashtra.I regret for the Maharashtrians who elected more BJP members who cannot feel anything for local Marathies.

How long you have been in Mumbai? have ever asked your dad about how SS has treated south Indians in 70's They never had nationalistic approach, they are similar to separatist.
When BJP is not ready to give deputy chief Ministers post to Siva Sena, its right decision to sit in opposition. Shiva Sena is not sister concern of BJP, its different party with, its own values and agenda.
To add to my earlier post, NCP offered unconditional outside support even before results were fully declared. NCP was not looking for power sharing at that point of time (although in future they may have that aspiration too). All they wanted was to support BJP at the crucial time so that they can later manipulate or halt investigation against their ministers at later stage. Shivsena could not have offered that type of support, because they did not have vested interest like NCP. That type of support would have reduced them to the likes of Independents and they would have to be satisfied with being very minor part of the government (just for namesake). It was for BJP to decide whether to share some portfolios with Shivsena and ensure 5 year stability or believe in U-Turn specialist Sharad Pawar who is less dependent and highly unpredictable.
I do not agree with Author's analysis. It is actually failure on part of BJP. It was single largest party but short of majority and staked claim at government. It was their responsibility to cobble support in-time. Why wait for one month and kept on negotiations? It was clear on day results were declared that BJP would need support from SS or NCP to run the government. Onus was on BJP and not SS. After blowing hot-cold with SS for one month and hood-winking NCP at the same time, they have gone the voice-vote way. If they would have chosen SS, there was high probability of govt running stable for 5 years (unless they start separate state issue for Vidarbha). Going with NCP means opening yourself to 5 yearlong blackmailing and making voters feel cheated. With their decision, BJP has pushed state towards instability. Regarding Prabhu, he was not an important issue for Shivsena and there was no way they would have been able to stop him. Even Bal Thackeray could not stop AB Vajpayee when he offered him another position at center. Ultimately it is good that we got one good minister at center.
Udhhavji you have taken the right step all the Maharashtrians are proud of you. Modi Janta Party (MJP) will know when the time comes. We are not "use and throw" mind you let MJP know them. Modi and Shah are equally responsible for the mess. Uddhav should never help them of Balasaheb will not like it at all. He must be churning from above for the mistake of 25 years. Will BJP take support from 'Naturally Corrupt Party' (NCP) as said by PM with the time 10 past 10. BJP cannot be trusted any more. They wish to wipe out all regional parties and that is their main agenda although they have grown due to them. They forget this easily. All the regional parties beware your time starts now. Take care of Modi Janta Party (MJP)Swabhiman cha swaal aahe. Is this “Achche Din”. This “Kache Din”. Not being present during the oath the ceremony will make the BJP, MODI and Shah Gujubhai’s will realize Afzalbhais will not be tolerated in Maharashtra ... How BIG you make the event it will be short livid ... Strong signal is a must?? The saniks will admire you and BJP will have to fall and then we will treat them the same way. Jai Maharastra.

It is rather surprising that you expect the BJP to take the insults from SS without hitting back. Calling Modi father Afzal was hitting below the belt. Even I would react badly if somebody says anything about my Father. Also, remember that Modi or BJP never spoke anything against SS during the campaign.
