Sawant, who had delivered a landmark judgement in the SR Bommai versus Union of India case in 1994 on proving majority on the floor of the House and imposing President’s rule, said: “To prove the majority of a minority government, division of vote (ballot voting) is a must.” Sawant, who spoke to dna over phone from Pune, said: “Voice vote by Speaker does not hold any validity. Once the government proves its majority by division of votes, voice vote can be be had for running the House. But in the beginning, division of votes is compulsory to confirm that the government enjoys majority.” The state elections, he said, will have no value if everything is decided by the Speaker. “The BJP preaches morality and ethics. I did not expect a party like BJP to indulge in such a wrong and unconstitutional practice. The Fadnavis-led government should immediately call a special session again to prove its majority on the floor of the House by division of votes. SS is a spent force, issues it takes up do not strike chord with the people. It's leaders who won are desperate for power and those who lost blame(privately) Uddhav for state of affairs where giving BJP a little leeway before elections could have got SENA full power. SS does not have issues that are facing common man on it's agenda whereas BJP smartly took away all issues of SS and Marathi pride with it. High time SENA leadership put egos issues aside and listen to what people want. Shiv Sena's back has been broken by it's fall and thanks to Sanjay Raut's rantings(which are fully authorised by Uddhav) BJP will go all the way to finish Sena with sweet arrows and not confrontation

What happen3ed in Maharashtra is what portends for the future where they do not get majority. And Modi and Amit Shay may have orchestrated it but the "hidden hand" will deny any role. They6 have practiced this game for years in Gujarat by claiming their innocence and getting others in jail. This their MO!
Udhhavji you have taken the right step all the Maharashtrians are proud of you. Modi Janta Party (MJP) will know when the time comes. We are not "use and throw" mind you let MJP know them. Modi and Shah are equally responsible for the mess. Uddhav should never help them of Balasaheb will not like it at all. He must be churning from above for the mistake of 25 years. Will BJP take support from 'Naturally Corrupt Party' (NCP) as said by PM with the time 10 past 10. BJP cannot be trusted any more. They wish to wipe out all regional parties and that is their main agenda although they have grown due to them. They forget this easily. All the regional parties beware your time starts now. Take care of Modi Janta Party (MJP). For better return sit in the opposition and in the coming elction you will have the majority.
BJP (Bhrashtrachari Janta Party) is a minor Govt. and illegal. Voice vote is not correct supreme court will give the verdict and they did not want NCP to take the credit hence this strategy. You look very frustrated.. but nothing will change. Uddhav will reduce to 25-30 in next elections from 60-65 and Rahul baba may reach 40-50 again....but BJP will keep ruling Maharashtra with full majority for next 25 years.. keep barking and weeping.
They keep themselves and their beliefs above everything else. They do not understand that people are not interested in what they want for themselves like becoming CM or PM but voters are more interested in voting for those who can solve their issues like employment, growth, stability and national pride which BJP has promised and is delivering under the leadership of Modi.
Therefore it does not matter if Modi is a Gujrati and Uddhav,and Raj are sons of the soil in Maharashtra. Similarly people connected better with Modi than either Nitish or Lalu who hailfrom Bihar . People are more intelligent than these power brokers think.

Uddhav should retire from politics. He has not been able to stop them and his mission 150 has failed just like Rahul baba's dream of 100 seats in loksabha..
